Hey, stop scrolling for a second. How are you doing? It’s so cold outside today, the sky is white and there is a chance of snow, but it’s warm inside. I can put the kettle on or I can heat some milk for a hot chocolate. Do you want to borrow a hoodie to keep you warm? Let’s sit down together for a while. I’ve got some crochet to do, why don’t we put on your comfort movie and we can watch it together? Or you can choose a book off of my shelves and I’ll give a warm blanket to snuggle under whilst you read. We can just talk or sit in silence if you prefer, we can just let time pass. Just remember that you’re safe here. And you can always come back.

You’re sleeping soundly as you always do, and you’re always the first to go to sleep. And somehow, you always end up on my side of the bed, but I never move you. Sometimes you start snoring a little, but it’s never for too long. And sometimes you say funny things in your sleep, I even managed to record it one time and show you the next morning. And here I lay, not too far off falling asleep myself, looking forward to the morning when I’ll get to wake up next to you again.
