Make every second count and move forward step by step; think kind thoughts and do good deeds; practice good teachings and share the joy of Dharma with everyone. 分秒不空過，步步踏實過；善念不間斷，好事日日做；妙法時時用，法喜多分享。

Interact with our family members with the wisdom of a Bodhisattva; care for the world with the tolerance of a parent. 用菩薩的智慧，看待家人；用父母的包容，關懷天下人。

Realize and apply the Buddha’s teachings in our daily life, for it is through interacting with the world that we cultivate ourselves spiritually. 以佛法做人間事，在人間修佛法行。

To correct our bad habitual tendencies, we should pay attention to whether we have worked hard to reform ourselves rather than to concern ourselves with others’ negative mannerisms. 改除習氣，不與人計較聲色，要和自己計較是否精進。

For the person in the mirror to smile, the person looking in the mirror must smile first. 要鏡中人笑，照鏡的人要先笑。

Uphold the spirit of sincerity, integrity, trustworthiness, and honesty. 守誠行正，立信篤實。

A lifetime of rich experience, good health, and the willingness to volunteer and share are the three desirable qualities of a senior citizen. 老來有「三好」：經驗豐富好、健康長壽好、走入社會當志工更好。

We must recycle both spiritually and on a societal level to protect the Earth, only then can we save the world. 要救世，就要做環保──心靈環保、社會環保、地球環保。

Be content, understanding, and at ease. Do not worry about disputes and gossip. 知足善解常自在，不因是非起煩惱。
