FACT: Yes, POTUS Trump declined the $400,000 presidential salary — but he earned money in other ways during and after his presidency.

HOWEVER, Multiple credible investigations have documented millions of dollars in revenue flowing to Trump-owned businesses from government and political spending, as well as from foreign entities.

Trump did forgo the presidential salary. But the salary is a tiny fraction of the financial picture.

Credible investigations have found:

U.S. Government spending at Trump properties (i.e., hotels, golf clubs, resorts)

Political spending at Trump properties (campaigns, etc.)

Foreign government payments to Trump businesses during his presidency. (Countries included China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and others. Don't forget the plane!)

The ‘no salary’ talking point is misleading

Because it IMPLIES POTUS Trump has a noble heart and:

He didn’t personally benefit

He sacrificed financially

He lost money by being president

But the documented financial flows contradict that narrative.

To put it nicely:

“It’s true he didn’t take the salary. But independent investigations show he made far more than $400,000 a year from government, political, and foreign spending at his own properties. So declining the salary didn’t mean he didn’t profit.”

For the average American, a salary is all of our money. So if we sacrifice it ... IT'S A BIG DEAL!!

Not so for Donald J. Trump. I'm not even going to mention his kids because ... Hunter Biden already did that. 😂

Should I mention POTUS Trump receives government‑funded medical benefits tied to his security protection and federal retirement status? Because it seems that the only one who gets "great healthcare" in this country is him.
