                                     ᴛᴏ  ʟɪᴠᴇ  ᴀᴍᴏɴɢ  ᴛʜᴇ  sᴛᴀʀs,   to rule  jungle kingdoms,   to guide entire nations, only to find oneself   H E R E.   A  self-loathing  man  might see  this as  deserved punishment.  A vain man might compare this to the Christian Devil’s  fall from heaven.  Me,  I think the coffee’s not terrible.   I  have  been   known   by  many   names.   Max Eisenhardt.  Erik   Lehnsherr.   Magnus.  M A G N E T O.   Each name  marks its own sin. And one day I’ll answer for those offenses.   But not today.  Only my actions…  what  I  do  in the name of all mutants… hold any real meaning.

I never thought it was possible for someone to be perfect or to fall in love with someone the moment you saw them. I thought that that stuff is for the movies or that maybe I was just broken. But the moment I saw you something awakened in me that I hadn’t known was sleeping or even there. And finally I knew how it felt to want someone so much that they consume both your heart and your mind. I knew how it felt to want someone so much it hurts.
