âMmmmm yeah but Iâm okay I promise!â Galaxy chirps, wiggling in his big brotherâs arms as Magmaâs grip tightens on him. He stretches up and plants a kiss on his big brotherâs cheek to reassure him. âAnd I will be, I just thought there might be more aliens in a place where thereâs less people and really tall mountains where I crashed. This time I went to a bunch of cornfields ân stuff. There wasnât anything fun there, though.â
He frowns when Magma tries to explain, and snuggles closer with a pout.  âBut I was, right? Thatâs why little brother Rock had to fight me! âCause I did bad things, so I was bad⌠Iâm trying not to be now, though! Iâm trying really, really, really, really, really, really really really hard!â His brotherâs explanation about work mostly goes over the little robotâs head, but he nods along and then - and then he whines at Magma and paps his face with his palm and huffs.
âWell, start having less to do so youâre home more often! Iâve been home moreân you have, Bari, and I go everywhere!â
âHaha, alright. As long as youâre careful-- Though I thought aliens liked leaving messages in cornfields? I guess theyâve been too busy, too. Or maybe they learned that ruining farmersâ hard work isnât very nice, so theyâre trying to find another way to talk to us.â
Baritone sighs, giving the child in his arms a little squeeze. Midi had never quite understood what had been planned for them when theyâd been left in that scrapyard, and Bari had no intention of having him find out, so heâs rather careful with his words. âTo be fair, he had to fight all of us. Even Mel. You did a bad thing, but that doesnât mean youâre bad-- or that you were bad. Everyone makes mistakes. As long as you learn from them and donât do it again, youâll be okay. Donât worry about it so much! Just be you.âÂ
...A tad bit hypocritical considering how much of a hermit Bariâs become, but... Midi deserved to be nothing but happy, and heâll do everything in his power to keep him that way.
âI only wish it was that easy. A lot of people need me around, Midi. I wish I could drop by more often, but I canât just get up and walk away from this stuff whenever I want. Itâs really important! Tell you what... As soon as everything dies down and they can handle it without me, Iâll come home for a while. Does that sound good?â
Well, now that heâs offering this itâs time to find as much as possible to do to keep him busy for as long as he can... But Midi really seemed to want him home... Well... Maybe he can put aside his discomfort for a short visit-- And flee before Neo finds him and forces him to stay put.
