don't like that there's not a woman version of "guy" like sure there's "gal" but that isn't even close to being the same and not to look to deep but "guy" implies average-ness in a way that "gal" could never because "just some guy" is nobody in particular but "just some gal" is a Woman and a Woman cannot be average because she is already someone. like that one lego movie quote says. hold on where is it

I make over double the minimum wage in my state (which is significantly higher than the pathetic excuse of a federal minimum wage) and I still cannot fathom trying to raise a family on the amount of money I make. granted i do have significant medical costs associated with keeping me alive and functional, but still. how the hell is anyone supposed to get by on $7.25/hr, let alone have kids???

i'm sure someone else has already said it but it's really not surprising at all that there are so many far-right health grifters when the right's whole thing is individualism-- what's more individualistic than believing your personal choices about food are the driving factors behind health rather than acknowledging the reality that systems and genetics play a larger role in individual health than seed oils or sugar ever will??
