(I had this idea for a DC Miniseries that would be absurdly funny, at least to me. The Title is "The Unexpendables" and it would be a buddy-cop comic featuring Resurrection Man, Deadman and Solomon Grundy. They'd go into places that would be certain death for other heroes (Negative Speedforce zone, Artificial Kryptonite Factory, Joker's mind) and stop the weapons of superhero destruction from being made. Grundy would be the front line fighter, just smashing his way through. Deadman would be the one possessing people who work there to gain security clearances and blueprints, and Resurrection Man would be the one who gets killed over and over by villains like Reverse Flash and Metallo, but just keeps standing back up. Halfway through the story arc, they have to go into a facility that's tampering with the Anti-Life equation and they realize they need the big guns.They need Lobo. But to come out of retirement, Lobo needs to be paid, so Resurrection Man turns his hand into an extremely rare extraplanetary metal and snaps off his middle finger, giving it to Lobo as payment. This makes Lobo laugh, all the way through the Anti-Life facility, and when the Lobo issue ends, he heads back off into space with the middle finger as a necklace.)

βWoodworking... youββ? β Perplexing, a look of confusion, almost as if he couldn't wrap his head around the idea. Woodworking would've been his last guess, strange hobby for a popstar. Ivory eyes fell upon the miniature, slightly lowering himself to its level, head tilted. It was . . . him?? The strangest gift he's ever received, that he can recall, anyway. Holding the sculpture in both hands, turning it to see every angle, eyes glared back up, focused on Blaire.

She smiles. "I'm a woman of many talents, and it looks like this one surprised you. I hope you both like it." Ali gives Warren's hand a gentle squeeze.

As the young girl before her is converted into a monster, the woman in the royal yellow gown has been pushed beyond her limit. Certainly, there is already someone here who is prepared to fight the monster, but many hands make light work. Himeno Ran strides forward, every step of her heels resonating with righteous fury until she arrives near Cure Flora. Her butler turns towards her with a sword on a silver platter. "Forgive the intrusion, Cure Flora. I cannot allow this travesty to continue. Corrupting another person's dream is a sin that cannot be forgiven." She draws the sword and points it at the monster.
She pulls down a handle on the right side of the sword. "KAMAKIRI!" She spins the sword in her hand and flips the red horn in the center. "Ohgai Busou!" A yellow gemstone forms around her body and the blade, and a giant praying mantis spirit flies through the gemstone, with a choir of voices singing "You Are The King!"
"The Queen of Beauty, Himeno Ran! Let us finish this quickly, Cure Flora!"
Cure Flora had no idea what this monster was-- it wasn't a Zetsuborg-- but she'd fight to save this girl all the same!
She'd barely thrown a punch when a girl in a regal dress came onto the scene and transformed into... a warrior that looked like the ones that were on that stage show in Yumegahama the other week.
Wait... was this woman a princess?! Flora stood there gawking for a moment.
"Y-yes! Let's!" Right, there was a monster to fight and a girl to save!
Once more, the warrior queen in yellow pulls the handle on the sword that resembles a mantis' claw, and the sword glows a bright yellow. As the pizza-oven themed monster brings down its own claw of brick and steel towards them, Himeno blocks the attack with her blade. The energy on the sword causes the monster to stagger backwards. "Sebastian!" She calls to her butler. "Please check the local records and identify this monster for us. The sooner we know what we're fighting, the sooner we can save the person within." "Yes, my queen!" The butler responds, taking out a PDA device that is marked with the symbol of a dragonfly. Rather than typing, however, the butler holds the device out towards the monster and a 3-D scan begins, projecting from the central camera. "Accessing information now! I will have a name in approximately two minutes. Initial scans show that the monster is favoring its left leg, likely as a holdover from the girl inside. She was wearing a cast on that leg, after all." "I will not harm that point if it is a lingering injury. And attempting to fight the monster at its core would prove challenging with the excessive heat. Cure Flora! Let us aim for the shoulders! I will take the left shoulder!" Saying this, she gracefully leaps into the air, not nearly as high as a Pretty Cure can, and begins a spinning slash combo on the shoulder.
"Is there an option for Reverse Strip?" Alison Blaire teases Warren. "Much as someone else might want to see you get naked, I'd rather see you put clothes on, starting with this." She holds up a very glittery singlet worn by her backup dancers.
βIt's a nice change, I think. β At least the idea was entertaining, most people would've gone the other route in a heartbeat. Eyes fall upon what she had on offer . . . So much glitter.

"I swear upon our friendship, I won't take any pictures. Come on, Warren. You know you've got the legs for it."
Halfway No More (RP with rosecoloredmuses)
Angela Zeddemore has just returned to Japan after her team in America fought against some powerful revived demons. During this encounter, something good had happened to Angela, and now that she's back in Japan, she wants to celebrate. She wants to make this special, and the best thing she can do is send an invite to someone who has been her friend for almost as long as Angela has been split in twain. She sends a letter to the embassy in Pikarigaoka, care of Tsubasa Mizuno. Inside the letter is an embossed invitation that reads "You and your friends are cordially invited to a party at the Crossroads this Saturday. Food and games will be provided." Under the invitation is a handwritten letter from Angela to Tsubasa, mentioning why she's been in America for so long, and that she has good news to share with Tsubasa and the Happiness Charge girls. Having posted the letter with overnight delivery, Angela now awaits a response from Tsubasa and her team, either by phone, email or even Hime shouting in delight.

"I went to my spare parts cabinet to find some of the XX-99 laser cannons left over from our last fight in Mordengrad...and instead found an IOU note from Chronan. That time-traveling barbarian is so frustrating sometimes..."
"Time travel can be so annoying," Tyson remarked. "Booster Gold will pop in every so often and ask me for ten bucks, because and I quote here 'the future depends on it!'. If I had a nickel for every time he did that, he'd still never be able to pay back what he 'borrowed'."
"Oh,Chronan left a message for you with the IOU. It says 'Devra, tell Tyson when he's inside the Terrorform Mark IX on Thursday that the shutdown code is silver, green, red, then pull the black handle. Don't let him pull the white handle, because that will fill the room with knockout gas."
"Okay...does that mean THIS Thursday, or some other Thursday?" he asked. "Is there a date on there?"
"No date, so it means this Thursday. But what frightens me is the number. We're only up to Mark IV for Terrorforms. Mark IX means time travel is involved in a really bad way."

If you are a father or mother like this, your eternal punishment is to be locked in a five square foot room with a dozen spirits that all sound like children vying for your attention at the same time. The only way to quiet down all twelve screaming spirits is to watch a single episode of Paw Patrol over and over."

He knocks on the doorframe to the lab and takes a deep breath. <"Doctor McCoy? My name is Takumi Inui, and I need to talk to you about a particular offshoot of mutants. This particular mutation feels like some form of cosmic punishment to myself and others like me, and I'm looking for a way to make things better for my kind. Could I have a few minutes of your time, please?"> He's not even sure if Doctor McCoy can speak Japanese, but his own English is abysmal.

There's a ping for a private message on the Superhero group chat(because of course that's a thing that exists) from Dazzler to the Human Torch. [DazzlingTime] Hey, Johnny. I'm back in town for a week and I had a thought. What if we and a few others worked together to knock around Spidey's rogues? We can break their gear and keep them distracted so Peter can have at least one peaceful day this month. If we can give him two, so much the better. Are you in?
"If our roles were reversed, I would be suspicious of her as well." Daniel admits. "So your name is Tsubasa, correct? Thank you for the help. Once I figure out the lay of the land, I'll head for my new home and not bother you again, unless we meet again. If we do, I hope you'll be willing to give me your friendship." He gives Tsubasa a smile that seems to glow, though it might just be the light nearby reflecting off his perfectly white teeth.
He takes a look at the map on her phone. "Yes, this is exactly the information I needed. Thank you, Tsubasa." Daniel hands back the phone in such a way that Hime can see he's not tampering with it.
"Let me thank you for your help again." Daniel takes a few sheets of origami paper out of his pocket. "It is a small thing, but I do have some skill in paper folding. Please tell me what your favorite flower is, and I will do my best to make one for you from this paper."

Tsubasa was trusting. Way too trusting. Did she learn nothing from the whole thing with Red?! Hime folded her arms as she watched Tsubasa take back her phone. If she got herself into trouble again, Hime hoped Tsubasa would repay her with some sweets.
βAh, you really donβt need to! Just knowing I helped someone like you is enough!β Tsubasa said, holding up her hands and shaking her head. And now she was being overly polite. Great.
Daniel slides the paper back into his pocket, and bows to the girls. "I thank you both again. May we meet in the future." As he turns around, Daniel stops at the sight of another figure approaching. "Oh, hello, God. It has been quite a while." If he had bowed low to the girls, he's almost touching the ground as he bows to Blue. "Not since the incident on the Titanic, as I recall. The water was very cold that night."
