I'm gonna spend another year alone

A project I did two (maybe three??) years ago using data that I made sure to explain was sometimes unreliable because we won’t pay for the good dataset and are using a free dataset that is known to have issues never got any follow up from anyone who saw it, mostly because they did not care. Then at some point they realized other people cared and they shared it with outside important groups, without understanding it or providing the full context. And guess what, it’s caused issues and questions and I have not gotten a chance to work on other pressing things because every hour there’s a new question that I covered the first time around and could have been addressed earlier if you’d just looped me in from the jump. Instead I’m coming into email threads weeks late or being asked to rerun data or update slides for someone in a whole other part of campus and like. Give me my promotion already.

I bought a dehumidifier in a fit of "I refuse to be miserable this summer" and I did my Consumer Reports research but really it's too large and too loud and just overkill and now I have to figure out how to return a giant heavy box when my boyfriend already threw the box away and it's a whole annoying expensive thing and I feel so dumb!

I think the sports bar assumed that they would not have a big crossover for the private event they had tonight, but they really should have advertised it because I absolutely would have come by later for a paid lecture on “the Victorian obsession with ancient Egypt”, especially because the people setting up for it seemed fun, but instead I hear about it two wines and a burger in and really would rather pee in my own bathroom.

Yes, celebrities need to stop podcasting, but they also need to stop making (“making”) beverage companies. Unless you can recreate the feeling of junior high me drinking a summertime Cactus Cooler, it’s already been done and done better. Stop being lazy and get back to acting.
