This is about boundaries. No one says you can’t watch porn or read porn as a minor (I read smut as a minor) but reading/watching porn can make you develop a lot of unhealthy attitudes about sex but that’s a longer conversation and we can’t exactly stop you but we, adults, don’t want you interacting with us and our content. No normal, healthy adult wants a minor interacting with their pornographic content. It makes us uncomfortable. It’s not cliquey, it’s because you’re a literal child. Sorry, I know you want to be all grown up but you should understand — you are a child. We’re grown adults. If an adult wants you to interact with their porn, stay the fuck away from them. If you’re 15 and someone who is 21 wants to interact with you in a sexual manner? Block them. I promise you, you’re not mature for your age, they’re just a predator. No adult in their right mind sees a 15 year old and goes “yep, i want to have sex with them/be in a relationship with them”. Adults who understand a minor interacting with their porn content is inappropriate are the adults who protect minors from predators (but! A predator may use the guise of protecting you to exploit you).
