i. i am not egyptian, but i have done years of research on ancient egypt because it has been an interest of mine since childhood. i may say something that is no longer accurate, and that is because with more evidence and archaeological findings, more proof will come out and change how historians understand how things were back in ancient times. i may not know the most updated information on some things... but did you know the great pyramids have been around since the 4th dynasty? did you know hatsh.epsut and ki.ng t.ut were in the same dynasty (18th), which means both are older than ramesses i and ii (19th dynasty)? my goal is to write a character that is fun and combines my love for making OCs with my love for ancient egypt. i research things when i can and update what i know when i find new information, such is the scientific way.
ii. i am permanently low activity and sporadic. i'm moving to a new state altogether and will be starting college again after a long break in hopes to achieve my doctorate. i will be very busy and will have to focus on school and other irl matters first. i am also autistic, so my priority is being mentally and physically healthy; i may not always have energy or time to do hobbies. please do not rush me... it is very hard to avoid burnout, and that will only make me extremely avoidant.
iii. i prioritize people who i speak and interact ooc with. i want friends and i want to feel comfortable with those i write with. i love enthusiastic people and love talking about our muses and random scenarios, even if not written as a thread. i really prefer people who are open to communication and won't ghost me. if you feel like i'm too much, please either KINDLY let me know or hard block me. ignoring my attempts at reaching out only creates conflict and makes a bigger problem. i also prefer partners who don't make me initiate everything, such as threads, sending memes, and plotting conversations. if you want to plot, please have at least something in mind or add onto what i come up with. if i feel like i cannot get anywhere, i will stop reaching out and probably hard block you. this is a hobby, yes, but it is a collaborative hobby on a social media website. please communicate and converse with me if you have a problem, but keep it respectful, please.
iv. triggers of this blog include: murder, death, corpses/mummies, mental health, and unhealthy family dynamics. please tag anything smutty, sexual, or suggestive (jokes are okay but flirting and touching and otherwise no thanks) -- including lead ups to sexual threads, such as making out and groping and what have you. i don't want to exhaust myself explaining the ins and outs of why it makes me uncomfortable but if you don't tag it, i will hard block you.
v. yes, please send memes and asks. you don't have to ask beforehand and i will always be happy to take them. anon will be turned on and off at my discretion. reaching out like this is absolutely appreciated and i love returning the favor. romantic memes will probably be off of the table due to nebty's age (~18-19). i will not argue about how she's "technically of legal age"; she has teen in her age's number, and she feels like one to me still. she's my OC, i can feel how i like. bottom line: not interested in romance with her. any other relationships are open and i gladly will accept them.
vi. i don't have a live action faceclaim and do not plan on searching for one. faceclaims are very difficult for me to find and stress me out because i have specific visions that often aren't depicted / popular / underrepresented in media available to me. i will have art of nebty eventually, and this is all i can offer.
vii. have fun, don't godmod, and don't spread hate. any discrimination will not be tolerated, especially misogyny, racism, lesbophobia, and transphobia. let's have fun and play barbies.
