a PICTURE, an UPDATE, and a CLARIFICATION: . The PICTURE: The first batch of Turtle Library magazines, just before being sent out to subscribers earlier this month! (they should have all arrived by now I think!) . The UPDATE: When I uploaded the paid patreon post (the one that triggers payment) at the end of the countdown, I accidentally did so a day too late! Which means that no one has been charged yet, and as a side effect, if anyone thought they missed the window to subscribe, you can still do so until the end of October when payment will actuall trigger ( patreon.com/TLmag ). . The CLARIFICATION: Talking to some friends after doing the countdown, I realized that I wasn't entirely clear about how the subscirption Patreon works. Subscribers/Patrons are NOT charged every month, they are only charged when I make a specific type of post, which then triggers payment at the end of the month in which it is posted. In the case of the magazine's Patreon, the only paid posts are the PDF's I upload when a new issue comes out once or twice a year. . Thanks for reading! . Books I’ve read since yesterday. Invisible frontier had beautiful and creative imagery and inspiring ideas but a creepy vibe that sort of tarnished all that. @percydewd ‘s Daddy’s Little Secret started out being so much fun, and kept adding twists that made it more fun as it went on. @penina.gal ‘s Drift used the space outside of its panels more beautifully and elegantly than anything I’ve read before. It also felt wonderful to peak inside your head as I go deeper in the journey of learning how mine works. @marcjpalm ‘s Punch to Kill satisfied my constant desire for the same sort of specific choreography that is the reason I love Jacky Chan so much. @editedthought ‘s Running out if Road gave me a world where my love of the way our physical environments’ various components connect up in such unique ways was fully rewarded. @joshpm ‘s Odd Ends 2 has got me excited to go work in a coffee shop today for the first time in literally years. And the Millenial Falcon was obviously hilarious. Thanks for reminding me of the joy of comics everyone!
