Now to the solution for our “flim” problem.

Great news!

We came up with something to replace flim on the projector. BUT that’s not the exciting part!

There’s something called shadow puppet in China. It’s a folk art that has a history of more than 2000 years. We most centainly didn’t have any film then, but people came up with this amazing idea that uses lights, shadows and paper cutting to present animations in a different form.

Our original idea was inspired by these vintage film projector. 

Coming up with a inferior version of it didn’t took that long. However, the moment we realize a film projector is going to need film, this become almost impossible. Photosensitive material is just way to complicated to make.

Well today is another brainstorming day.

We plan to come up with an idea of how to put this flashlight to use. That is in a multimedia way.

There’s a saying in China, “Red with green is better than shit.”

I called Joe and he didn’t answer. 30 mins later he sent me this.
