So that pic is the size heād be when heās overdue with something (or he got an assignment that was incorrectly matched with him and turned out to be wayyyy too big for his body). I would assume he actually canātĀ eat very much when heās that size ā at least, not very much in one sitting. Itās not so much that the thing is in his actual stomach, like, the organĀ that is his stomachā¦. itās just that everything is so dang compressed in his abdomen that it gets pretty hopeless to try and fit food anywhere in there.
If heās ever in that situation where heās too big to really eat, he does one of the following (in order of likelihood):
He acts like greedy idiot and tries to carry the incubation to full term: he has Harvey give him IV nutrients until itās all over
Heās delirious and tries to eat anyway. It goes poorly because duh. Emeto people rejoice. He ends up calling Harvey to get the thing taken out (or complete the incubation with Option 1)
He does the smart thing and calls Harvey as soon as he experiences trouble with basic daily tasks, like eating, and goes under the knife right away
God. Poor Dash. But I love seeing this precious carrot in pain
