I feel good talking about my blog, like sharing my things that I play. Talking about trips for the national team and playing sports here in Saipan. I would honestly continue talking about my blog like in the future. I still have a lot of stories that I didn’t talk about in my blog. I had four soccer trips with my club team, Kanoa. I went to Guam twice for two weeks, Tinian for two days, and Hong Kong for a week and a half. I went to seven places with the national team. I went to China for the U15 East Asia Football Federation and I stayed there for two weeks, Manila for another two weeks for the U16 Tuloy XO cup and U15 training camp, Guam to challenge there  U15 national team for two days and U19 Marinas Cup for three days, Indonesia for the U15 Asia Football Confederation which I already talk about, and Cambodia for the U18 Asia Football Confederation. There is so much that I really wanna talk about to like anyone that really wants to know about my soccer life. And even for basketball, I haven’t gone off island for basketball. But I have stuff to tell about when I played for Mount Carmel School for five years and Rollers for two years. I left Rollers when I was young but I regret leaving because they are the ones who taught me everything about basketball. Me, Jboy, and Leo lost our first 15u championship against Ol’Aces, got second place for the 17u Christmas tournament two years ago, won back to back 15u championship from last year December and this year February for 17u with Steve and Ton. Which changed from 15U to 17U. I also won the 19u championship twice with Chioni, Matt, Steve, and Ton. So there is still a lot to talk about when I do another blog post.

When I was in seventh grade, the school basketball finished around March or April. My dad called me into his room and he wanted to tell me that a coach for Ol’Aces wanted me, Jboy, and one of our teammates Tyler. I was excited to play for another basketball team because I used to join Rollers when I was young. I quit Rollers because I did get any play time. The next day after my dad asked me that, I went up to Jboy and Tyler to talk about the team we are gonna play for. The team was Ol’Aces and the coach that asked my dad for us three was Coach Preston. Me and Jboy were down but Tyler told us that he was leaving for Guam or the States I think. So I asked my dad this “ can Leo take over for Tyler because he was leaving?” He said yes, so I told them when it was practice and games because I think the games were two weeks after our fifth or sixth time practicing with the team. Luckily I knew two of our teammates, one is my soccer teammate for Kanoa and the other one was at this soccer tournament when we were in elementary. There were 5 teams, it was Ol’Aces, Sonics, Tanapag Warriors, and two Rollers teams. We were undefeated for the basketball tournament and we got a lot of playing time. We challenged Sonics in the finals and won by like 20 points I think. It was a good one season and us three left and joined Rollers.

So this will happen in September 2019. I don’t know what date it was but it was the first week of September. Our coach selected 23 players to play in Indonesia for AFC (Asia Football Confederation.) But two of our teammates got injured during training. So our coach replaced one of them but did not for the other one. Me and Jboy got selected but Jboy had to travel alone because of his passport. He only played for two games because he came a little bit late into the tournament. We played against the home team Indonesia, Brunei, China, and Philippines. We lost every game but we managed to score against Brunei and Indonesia. I was really happy about our performances even though we lost, we showed everyone that we are still a good team and even though our island is small. We still have a national team to qualify and play against other countries.

Me: No, they wanted me to try. Like they didn't force me or anything. They just wanted me to give it a try. So I started playing volleyball first, then basketball, and then soccer. So it just runs in the family and they are happy for me playing sports like them.
