I enjoyed the scene of Joe singing to baby Nora and Iris flashing back on her life with Barry. I know the finale was disappointing to you, myself included, but what were your thoughts on that scene.

Oh, I really enjoyed this scene too, nonnie! I didn't really get a chance to talk about this scene, because I was overall so over the finale right after it aired, but I did love this scene. I thought the little moment between Iris and Joe was really, really nice, and it reminded me of some of my favorite Iris/Joe scenes on the show, particularly the scene in 3x22 where Joe sings and he and Iris dance together... no joke, I don't think I can rewatch that scene in 3x22 without crying. Simultaneously, it made me really sad at how much the show has failed their relationship and how badly the show has written Joe as a father to Iris, especially in these later seasons.

I really liked Joe singing a lullaby to baby Nora. It was really sweet and fitting, and when you think about how we saw Joe singing with Iris right before they thought she might die and right before she gives her engagement to Joe to give to Barry, in case she does die, and now we see Joe singing to baby Nora, with Iris sitting on the hospital bed, watching them, having just given birth and having finally gotten her happy ending... it feels like these two scenes are intrinsically connected, even if that may not have been TPTB's intention, and it leaves me emotional, just thinking about how much Iris has been through and how much she deserves her happy ending with her husband and her children. And I really like how it's conveyed in this scene with her father and her baby daughter.

Also, I love how while Joe is singing to Baby Nora, Iris reflects on her love story with Barry. I obviously love the Westallen montage, and again, I think it really speaks to how this scene really conveys Iris getting her happily ever after.

In general, Candice and Jesse are great in their scenes together, as always. They really elevate their material.
