Metamorphosis

Going through a process of learning one's true self is not easy. While allowing God to work from the inside out, everything points back to self. What others do, the things that happen, the things that are said...it all goes back to you. It's crazy bcuz at times you may just want to either give up or throw a tantrum asking "What about me?!" But that's what God wants you to focus on...YOU! God began a good work in each and every one of us, which He will bring to completion. He had the plan set already as He made a covenant agreement with Abraham and His seed -- Christ. God was determined to get us back to Him. The enemy came and deviated what god had set for us, but He loved us that much, that He never gave up and even as we wander away, He waits. So in the days ahead, look forward to Christ, as it is His strength in you that gives you the ability to endure. While you steady focus on Him, as I am doing, He brings the change in you that you expect to see in others, stripping off every weight that determines to hold you down. To my loving Father...thank You for holding onto me, for never leaving nor forsaking me. I am ready, and while I have You in and with me, I look forward to the days ahead!

Dark thoughts, a negative mindset on the inside worn by a frown on the outside was what I once knew. From the little girl to the growing, young woman, I tried to live opposite the life I had no choice but to submit to btwn my parents and siblings, which end-resulted in a broken home. So, of course, trying to run from it only helped conceive an offspring of the situation, drawing me further and deeper into it. Before I knew it, I sprouted abuse, low-self esteem, carelessness, and quitter. My life was ruined...so I thought. Like a caterpillar wrapped in its cocoon, God wrapped me in His arms to transform me. Although it seemed impossible to me, God showed and reminded me that because of Him, ALL things are possible. And that I could do ALL things THROUGH Christ, who strenghtens me. Though my wings are still feeble, I am being strenghtened through Christ, ready to fly into my new beginnings....metamorphosis.
