Why hello thur.  I just logged into this on the new laptop (FINALLY, I has something on which I can write) and I have messages and stuff and I just-- I miss you all terribly.  <3

Grandma passed away on the 11th January. She’d been in hospital since December 14th where they said she wouldn’t survive the weekend. Boy did she, considering she held on until January. Tough little cookie, my Grandma :)

it was kind of surreal and emotionally draining - we spent all of our time with her, caring for her before she went into hospital and we were there when she died, holding her hand.  It’s her funeral tomorrow. It just doesn’t feel real - it still feels like we’re going to go up and visit her in the hospital, as strange as that sounds.

Work is hectic. I am now fully ensconsed in a freakin’ payroll job and that takes up more than enough of my time /insert eyeroll here!  But I am looking for another one as I need something that pays better than what I’m earning because ...

I’m moving in with Le Boyo. We’ve been together just over a year now and to be honest, he was living in here anyway, so it kind of seems like the logical step - i just need to find out whether our delightful council are gonna kick us out or not because i may not have “natural succession” to Grandma’s house even though I lived in it with her for ten years. With any luck, I’ll get to stay but it’s a whole fuck of a lot to think about/worry about when you’re trying your best to get from one day to the next already.

My sister moved to Wales, her kids came to stay with us then moved out again when she came back

i wish i did. :( havent been able to get rid of the ones on my dash either. (also hi christeh <3)

I’m not caught up on TVD - in fact, the last ep I watched was back when Caroline was pregnant last season and I have no clue of what’s happened since.
