I’m hosting a movie theater screening for Inanimate Insanity II: The Movie!

AHHHH Your colors are wonderful

I had a wonderful time voicing Kylie!

With shows, I usually just get scripts and record character lines on my own. But for ONE Investigations, I was able to voice call with Cheesy for live voice direction!

Cheesy wanted to see how calling with two voice actors at once would work, so I had the pleasure of recording with Pokeysoda in the same call! Both were wonderful people to work with!

Me and Pokey went back and forth reading the script together while recording. It was very natural! After going through the script, we each got small revisions and re-recorded some lines that could be improved.

For recording Kylie specifically, I got in the headspace of being shy, nervous, and unsure of what to say. Speaking as quietly as possible in to the microphone without sounding whispery. For Kylie’s name line, I was told to mumble her name as quietly as possible, even if it didn’t pick up on the discord call.

(Throughout the entire recording session, I had a blanket over myself and the mic in order the prevent noise and echo.)
