Our damsel is currently impaled on a one-bar prison; a device which is devious in its simplicity; once impaled to a sufficient depth, with the victim up on tiptoes (notice the heels?) the one-bar prison is practically inescapable.

In an effort to further guild the lily, the hero of our tale (clearly the villain of hers) has chosen to bind her wrists above her, in an effort, presumably, to demonstrate her “helplessness” further. However, this binding would allow a desperate captive to haul herself fairly easily off the impaling invader.

A simpler, more elegant, solution would have simply been to remove her high heels, and let gravity contain our hapless victim. The helplessness of her situation would become apparent in time, and as her calves tire who knows what she might be prepared to do, simply to have her high heels returned to her…
