FINALLY after so many years I am reading Anne of Green Gables and ofc I love the sweet relationship between Matthew and Anne but we need more appreciation for Anne and Marilla bc Marilla wants to act like she's no-nonsense and hard and shit and she IS in a way I guess but deep down loves Anne and I love the moments where she finds herself having to check her emotions bc she wants to laugh at things Anne does or how she deep down agrees with her on things she feels she SHOULDN'T agree with her on like Mr. Bell's prayers and the ministers sermons lmaooooooo
I will forever reblog anything relating to Anne and Marilla. Both their relationship and Marilla’s character arc because of Anne’s presence in her life are so under appreciated

Soooooo Anne and Gilbert get married in September
And they met for the first time at the beginning of the school year in September
There’s no specific dates attached to these two events but do you think they might have married on the anniversary of the first day they met?

Gilbert’s would be like 14 years ago today i pulled Anne’s hair and she hit me upside the head anyway really glad to be married to her now
