Last night reminded us why community matters so deeply. Our Friendsgiving and 12-Year Anniversary Celebration was filled with laughter, reflection, joy, and so much love. From heartfelt conversations to the silliest game moments, every interaction showed the power of connection.

We shared food and stories around the table, and ended the night by honoring the volunteers and leaders whose passion keeps OMC’s mission alive. Every award was a reminder that none of this happens alone.

As we close out another year of service, we are grateful for every person who walks through our doors, shows up to support, and chooses family with us.

From people of color to queer communities, we recognize the dual impacts so many face—and we’re proud to show up with abundant resources during a season that can often bring financial strain.

We are beyond thrilled to share that PRIDE INSIDE 2025 was an incredible success, with nearly 100 clients showing up to access vital resources, including clothing, cosmetics, and more. It was a day full of empowerment, support, and celebration, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing community that joined us!

A huge thank you to New York City Pride for making us a 2025 PRIDE GIVES BACK Grantee for the 4th year in a row! Your unwavering commitment to uplifting marginalized communities continues to make a powerful impact. � We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the NYC LGBT Community Center for generously hosting us and providing a space where we could come together and make this event happen. �️‍�

Our latest Queer Men’s Empowerment workshop, Final Destination, was not just an event — it was a sacred experience. Together, we held space for truth, grief, release, and rebirth.

From candlelight reflections to writing our legacies on the mirror, we confronted the fragility of life and affirmed our worth in it. This was a funeral for the versions of ourselves that no longer serve us — and a celebration of the men we’re becoming.

To every participant: thank you for your vulnerability, your honesty, and your power. You showed us that healing happens when we dare to be seen.

✨ Your life matters. Your story matters. And while you are still here… we honor you.

This year has been truly remarkable, and we’re overflowing with gratitude as we reflect on our journey together.

2024 Highlights:

Hosted 32 Elevated Boutique Pop-Ups serving unhoused and under-resourced LGBTQ youth and adults.

Distributed 500+ new coats through our partnership with Aritzia's "Gift of Warmth" program, bringing comfort to LGBTQ youth, adults, and families in NYC shelters.

Shared joy with families in Queens shelters through our Holiday Toys, Coats, and Clothing drives, thanks to the generous support of The Hispanic Federation and Flagstar Bank.

Each event wasn’t just about providing essentials—it was about building community, connection, and hope for those who need it most.

To our amazing partners, volunteers, and supporters: THANK YOU. Together, we’ve fostered dignity, love, and warmth in our community. Let’s carry this momentum into 2025!

What a day to remember! Our "HOLY SHHhh: Drag Me to Church" Sunday Funday Brunch was nothing short of magical. From stunning performances by drag and trans entertainers to heartfelt conversations about faith, religion, and resilience, this event was a true celebration of community and authenticity. We laughed, we cried, we twerked in a Tambourine Twerk-Off, and we honored those impacted by HIV with a beautiful and moving ceremony. This groundbreaking event was about bringing people together—queer folks from all walks of life—and creating a safe, affirming space filled with love and joy.
