"Palaces? You need more than one?”

"Of course, one for each of my wives."

She tilted her head and gave him a small smirk. “Anything I can do to make your mood better, Wonderboy?”

"Well..." Amycus hand slid a little further up her leg, his eyes travelling over her face.

"Wales seems doable. It’s not too far away and a lot of it’s countryside."

"Lots of room for my palaces."

"Family politics." She rolled her eyes and nodded. "I know about that all too well."

"Yeah so I've come back in a very bad mood."

"That’s kind of sad." She turned, leaning against the armrest and putting her legs across his lap. "But satisfaction brought it back, love."

"Even so I can always kill that cat again." Amycus grinned, laying his hands on her outstretched legs. "It's just stuff with my parents and Alecto; not very interesting, just family politics."

"Well, I’m sick of being treated like the weak, delicate child. Even as the girl, I’m more of man than you are. Maybe they should sell you off to the highest bidder.” She glared at him for a moment, then turned away to give him a cold shoulder. “And besides, I refuse to be whisked away. I’ll be gone before they get the chance to plan my wedding.”

"Well this just shows that right now you are a weak, delicate child." Amycus exploded, his anger inherited by his hot-headed father. "Instead of insulting me why don't you accept my help. I'm not doing this out of spite Alecto, I'm doing it because I care about what happens to you! So either stop acting like a whiny little brat and let me help or accept the fact that you are being sold to the highest bidder."

"Sure. I still don’t see you as a ruler of the world, though."

"Maybe a small country... Maybe Wales?"

"Last time? What did you fuck up last time that pissed Pomfrey off so much?" Sirius eyed him cautiously, but only got the feeling like Amycus felt genuinely concerned. Still, he didn’t want word to get back to Bellatrix. "I wasn’t there to see her. But from what I know, she’s doing better. Should be out soon."

"That doesn't matter." Amycus waved the question away, he didn't have time for the arrogant prick's queries. "Okay, well why were you coming out of there?"

"Right. How many girls have you tried that one on?" She laughed. "Ruler of the world? You’re aiming a bit high, aren’t you?"

"A few." Amycus shrugged, "but none as pretty and... petite as you." He winked before leaning against the wall and waving his hands in front of him. "The world is my oyster... reach the stars mini Prewett, and you'll most likely make it half way."

"All you’re doing is making me look weak, like I can’t handle my own battles. Just proving what our parents already think about their helpless, useless little girl. I’m going to deal with this on my own."

"Don't be stupid Alecto, they think every girl is like that. It's nothing personal, and anyway you'll be even more miserable when you get whisked away by this mystery bloke to somewhere I can't find you."

"Good, because now you’re stuck with it." She sat down on the common room couch and raised an eyebrow. "Plans about what?"

"Best news I've heard all day." Amycus draped an arm around Abella. "Curiosity killed the cat, Miss Fawley."
