Mother Remixes

I Miss You - EarthBound 2012 is a collaboration album released on New Year’s Day 2012 featuring 22 tracks by various artists in EarthBound’s soundfont. A majority of the tracks are original compositions, but there’s one submission that I’d like to draw attention to. Notably, Fallen Down by Toby Fox was later remixed in his breakout 2015 indie game, Undertale, where it is used as Toriel’s theme.

Another of Toby Fox’s submissions to the album is entitled Megalo Strike Back; while it is not a remix of it, the track’s title is a reference to one of Fox’s well-known compositions, Megalovania, which had previously appeared in The Halloween Hack and Homestuck and would go on to be used in Undertale as well.
