“Yes!!”

“That’s unfortunate, but I suppose that’s the circle of life. They were going to die at some point.” He gives a smile, flashing a toothy grin at the clown. “But the way I do like your hair, it’s not often someone would have a shade of that intensity. My hair used to be.. blue, I believe, and purple as well.”

“Why, thank you. You dye it often then? That can be quite a hassle. I’m fortunate to have such great natural color.”

“Dye? Oh, no I don’t.” He gives his chin a scratch unsure how to explain himself. “My.. Hair used to be blue, but now it’s black.. because my powers are stripped away for a few days. So it usually looks different from this, we can call it a ‘mortal’ form I suppose.”

This caught Shaco by surprise. He pulled his knife back out, twirled it in his hand and stared at it’s blade as he processed this information. After coming to a conclusion he put the knife back into it’s sheath. There was a hint of sinister air to his tone when he spoke. “What are you affiliated with?”

“That’s unfortunate, but I suppose that’s the circle of life. “What a interesting thought, I would suppose people have their own signatures.” He’s amused by the jester, eyes watching the man twirl happily. It almost reminded him of Nocturnes actions when they had first met. “So you feed off of killing? Sadly I have nothing to provide satisfaction for your needs. Maybe another time when I have a target in ind I could give you a job.”

“That would be delightful. Here’s my business card” He pulled out a jack-in-the-box, reved it up and instead of a jester-doll a human head stuck onto the spring leaped forward with the card stuck onto it’s forehead with a pin.

He stares for a moment before taking the card from the head carefully. “Well thats certainly one way to give me your card.” He chuckled amused, human emotions were something he wasn’t used to yet. Flipping the card in his hand he placed it carefully in his coat pocket. “If I give you a job keep in mind that its usually because I’m bored. So I do not care if you decide to have fun on the job.”

Good. Good! The man had a sense of humor. Shaco often tested new people with stuff such as the jack-in-the-box to see if their existence wasn’t a complete waste of space. On rare occasions he’d even write their names down on his special “do-not-kill-for-now”-list. “Boredom is most genuine reason to kill... Sol, was it? I should mark your information down somewhere.. I wouldn’t want to accept a job to target probable customer. Happened once, in my early days. Pretty awkward gig, must say.”

“Sorry if you were looking for work.” He gives a small shrug, eyes staring for a moment before blinking.  “I’m.. Sol, I don’t think I have ever recalled meeting you, which is quite a surprise I thought I have met almost everyone in Runeterra.”

Sol? He had never met anyone with that sort of name. But it sounded like he should know more about it than he could remember at the moment. “Odd, so did I. At least everyone important.” The bells in his outfit tingled as he took a bow. The person had such peculiar air to him the clown had deemed worth his while to act cautiously. “Shaco, the demon jester. Runeterra’s homicidal maniac, assassin and entertainer”

“Runeterra seems to have loads of assassins, it’s quite funny. But some people have to make a living. Murder is quite a choice.” He eyes the outfit raising a eyebrow. “How can one wear so many bells and still be able to assassinate someone?”

“Runeterra needs assassins. But for me it’s not a choice, not even a job. It’s my purpose, killing keeps me going. And the more terrified the victim, more enjoyable the act.” He makes a rather flamboyant twirl. “The outfit’s part of the fun. I just love it when they hear the soft ring of the bells but know they can’t escape it” He couldn’t help but get excited thinking of one of the best feelings in the world. The almost permanent grin on his face got even wider.
