“I don’t know what you two were out doing but I don’t want to be around for whatever this–” he waved his hand flippantly, “is.” Marissa furrowed her brow, “What’s that supposed to mean?” Todd slipped his arms into his coat, “Look, it’s fine when we’re all together and it’s easy to ignore, but it’s another thing entirely to be alone with the two of you.” Marissa’s eyes flicked briefly to Deacon, then back to Todd, “What’s easy to ignore?” “I don’t know, you two tell me.”
