The costume designer for Willow’s outfits was an absolute artist. When you see a photo of her you can instantly tell which season it is/where she is in her character arc. She changes so much throughout the series, and it’s so perfectly reflected in her outfits. I could geek out over the costume design throughout the whole show but I really feel like Willow’s wardrobe stands out as incredible visual storytelling. And her dream in Restless about her newfound confidence being a costume? When Joyce dies and she struggles to find anything to wear? Clothes are so important to how Willow expresses herself. The writing and costume design perfectly weave in that detail through the whole series and it adds so much depth to her character.

Rewatching Buffy and replaying Cyberpunk 2077 at the same time so I can have the most cursed and insufferable vocabulary and cadence possible

I mentioned it in my previous post but imagine Buffy and Dawn scrapbooking after Chosen. They’ll actually get free time!! To have hobbies!! Remember when Buffy was sad there weren’t any photos of her in their yearbook? Now she can actually make happy memories with her loved ones and take photos to remember it by. And with how much Dawn loves journaling I feel like she would love scrapbooking!!

It hurts my heart Buffy doesn’t get to continue her education. I really like to think post Chosen she does get to go back, since the weight of the world isn’t solely on her shoulders anymore. When she really applied herself she did so well, she even got better grades than Willow. She loved her poetry class and she was so sad when she dropped out. The only reason she didn’t apply herself in high school was because she knew there was no point. She knew she would be too busy saving the world until it eventually killed her. She knew she was going to die young. I want to believe after Chosen she got to have all the parts of a normal life that she wanted. She gets a good education, she gets normal birthdays, she gets to ice skate. Imagine our girl with hobbies ;-; She could scrapbook with Dawnie. I need everyone to list the fun things Buffy could get to do after Chosen

I’m a newer member to the Buffy fandom, I just had my first watch of the show within the last year, but I’m so sad about Anthony Head’s passing. Giles was my immediate favorite when I started the show. I don’t know if I even have words for how much I love his character. I can’t imagine how hard this is for older fans of the show, or people who grew up with it. I’m on my first rewatch and The Body is coming up, I know I’m going to be thinking about him the whole episode. I know I didn’t really know him, but I’m grateful I got to see how talented he was. I don’t think anyone could’ve played Giles the way he did. I’m just sad. Rest in peace Anthony Stewart Head

Seeing Wesley in Angel after seeing him in Buffy feels like I’m being gaslit… I understand he has an arc but as early as season 1 and 2 there’s some dialogue that offhandedly mentions him having hookups and like… we all saw his kiss with Cordelia. You’re telling me that the worst kisser in the world gets laid? Regularly? Did he get infinitely better at kissing/sex in the interim of being a “rogue demon hunter”?? The only romance the audience has seen him in he fumbles it so badly because he SLOBBERS on the girl he’s kissing and now we’re supposed to believe that he fucks??

Drusilla and Darla have been on screen together for five minutes and I already need these beautiful evil women to kiss

I love that Willow hardly sings in Once More With Feeling. Literally the only line she has is “I think this line is mostly filler”. Because everyone is singing what they’re keeping bottled up, what they feel guilty for, what they’re anxious about. And Willow is so full of hubris she has nothing she needs to get off of her chest. She’s not worried or guilty about anything, she knows she’ll fix any issues that come up. She literally defeated death itself. Buffy acting kind of off, Tara arguing with her, Giles reprimanding her, she doesn’t have to worry about any of that. Cause she can fix it. She can fix everything with magic.
