Day 7: Free day. man… can’t believe I forgot to post yesterday. I was so close I KNEW I should’ve just scheduled these… but it’s okay, I wasn’t proud of the art I made for lost/found anyways.

Anyways here are the entirety of Milleri and Bluebell’s teams (+Cherry the Shaymin).

Milleri’s Pokémon are on the left and shaded in red: Kovidar the Hisuian Typhlosion, Shock the Luxray, Luminous (Lumi) the Wyrdeer, Avalanche the Walrein, Ven the Gliscor, and Pyre the Kantonian Ninetales.

Bluebell’s Pokémon are on the right and shaded in blue: Dawn the Gallade, Sunhigh the shiny Rapidash (yes he was the handout shiny shhhh I got a second shiny rapidash in an outbreak later anyways so let me have this), Dusk the Sylveon, Moonrise the Alolan Ninetales, and Twilight the Scyther.

Day 5: Family, friends, or loved ones.

After the Red Sky crisis, Rei’s mother spirals, going mad with the idea of a world where his now-deceased twin sister Akari had taken the place of Milleri in the story, believing Milleri to have killed her daughter by taking her place in the universe- even claiming she forces Rei to act as though she is an “adopted sister”. After about a year, she succumbs to her insanity.

Prompt 3: Crafting! "Yeah, this kind of stuff happens a lot. You'll get better with time, I promise." "Okay yeah, cool talk now can you WRAP THE BANDAGE around my arm please? I am BLEEDING ONTO THE TABLE HERE, REI."

Prompt 2: (honestly I feel this fits for all prompts but) “Remember this, though; Pokémon are terrifying creatures.”

After being exiled from Jubilife, Milleri discovers one of her Pokémon- Shock the Luxray- alone in the wild. When she tries to approach him, he turns on her, having succumbed to the same primordial terror that causes Pokémon in Space-Time distortions to turn aggressive. An old friend of hers, Cherry the Shaymin, is able to step in and temporarily calm down Shock with Aromatherapy, but they realize quickly that all Pokémon across Hisui seem to be turning aggressive, their eyes turning black and their minds going rogue.

this is like my first time posting art of my own ocs here. Also the first time actually participating in an event like this where I’ll be able to post something every day for the duration of the event. Anyways!

Prompt 1, day 1: Deja vu!

Context behind this one is that my PLA story, Shifting Skies, has two main protagonists, with one joining the story after Avalugg is quelled and before the Red Sky Crisis (it’s about a month, two month gap in this version of events). Both of these protagonists, Milleri (back, getting hissed at by Bluebell’s Gallade Dawn) and Bluebell (Speaking person) come from a world like ours in which Pokémon is a video game. And Bluebell in particular was like a die-hard Pokémon fan, so when she meets Rei for the first time she’s kind of taken aback by his similarity to Lucas. Rei (who’s scarred from that stupid annoying Electro ball that follows you around during the Electrode fight) tells her she has to get used to seeing scars and she tries to cover up with a half truth so she doesn’t have to give Rei an existential crisis over potentially being nothing more than a video game character.

oh also Dawn got redesigned in the final piece (which I completed yesterday) so now his design is kinda outdated here, I saved the layer info so I might go back and fix it later but I didn’t have time today ^^’
