My employer has decided that from now on we're allowed to bring our dogs to work... Most people seem to be happy about that, but I'm dreading meeting my boss's dog in person. It's a huge German Shepard (I'm kinda scared of big dogs), and just from experiencing it in the background when she's working from home and we have a meeting, that dog is so not well trained or suited to be in a work environment... He barks at every little noise he hears and won't shut up for the next 5 minutes, constantly demands attention, doesn't listen to my boss at all, and she says he's "not good with people" and that she will just put a sign on her office door when he's there and then she expects everyone to not come knock on the door or call her office phone because those noises would "make the dog go crazy" (which according to her is normal dog behavior). And I think I managed to become her enemy number 1 today because I'm too menopausal to keep my opinion to myself anymore, so I told her that I don't think this dog belongs in an office if he can't handle a knock on the door or a phone ringing.
