        “hmm,” softly did she hum in response. her fingers intertwined with his and she held his hand, bringing it up to her lips. “i think... it may be a bout of jealousy that’s struck her, theo-- or something’s come up... i feel like i’m the reason.”

        she lets him do as he pleased. her nerves are acting up and minji’s not sure what’s gotten into the other girl as of late. “i couldn’t help it...has she talked to you, about this? her behavior?”

        “fine!” she’s trying her best to maintain composure. how it made her so mad to know that eden was right in some regard. and it was even more aggravating knowing that whatever she tried to say, minji couldn’t get her point across. expressing herself was getting to become harder by the day and with eden’s sudden outburst, it took her by surprise, rendering her incapable of formulating a coherent argument. “there’s no point in arguing my point; it’s like beating a dead horse.”

        fists clenched, jaw hardened: her irritation was at it’s peak now with eden. who would have thought to hear such things from this girl. she swallows thickly, the bitter taste of bile bubbling in the back of her throat; she’s anxious. her knuckles are white with the amount of strain being put on them. “if you claim to be his friend, then you should be supportive. i don’t know much about your relationship with him, but i’m certain he’s fond of you enough to tolerate such behavior coming from you-- !! if it bother’s you that much, then fine! so be it!”

        “so you’re really going to run away from this, huh?” minji... isn’t surprised. if anything, she’s disappointed in the other girl she’s supposed to consider her friend. brown eyes narrow, taking note of eden’s actions and storing them away in her memory. she’ll keep this in mind next time. minji stands her ground firmly, watching eden stalk off. “and you want people... to take you seriously, don’t you? behaving like this? running away? alright. i understand.” her tone is dry, patience dangerously wearing thin now.

        “it’s not his fault!” she’s defensive over the other being mentioned, knowing about his past and what he’s been through, minji doesn’t blame him. her lips bull into a scowl, taking a step closer to eden. “you don’t know half of what he’s been through as of late; it’s not my fault he fancies talking about me... i can’t control him; neither can you. there’s no need to be so sour!”

         “you’re despicable, you know that? if you were in a relationship, i know very well you would have behaved in a similar manner, if not worse; your tone of voice is what’s rude...” her brows knit together, displeased with eden’s behavior as of late. it seemed to her that the person she considers to be her friend is taking such unruly behavior out on her.
