Ok but I love thinking about how Woke Mr Martin is despite being a shitty guy from the 1950’s. I see people confused as to why he’s so progressive but there are 2 main things that make it make a whole bunch of sense.

1. He was progressive in his time. He actively advocated for women in the scientific field when it was taboo. Even going as far as to end up getting FIRED because he couldn’t bring himself to discourage Janet from her scientific interest.

2. He is a scientist who’s been around to see many major developments in the science of gender and sexuality. His afterlife of 60+ years has centered solely around science, and being in a highschool. I just KNOW this guy gets so pissed off about how anti-biology the things bigots believe and say are.

So, it actually makes sense that he’s so accepting of the Queer ghosts. It also makes complete sense that he was able to clock the Quinda development. (I don’t think they told him) He’s known (and literally studied) Rhonda for 60 years. It was probably pretty obvious to him.

I would love to add to this because I’m a history nerd ^^

He would absolutely crash out when he finds out who the president of the United States is. He would probably absolutely have a crash out in front of the others because he lived through the 1930s/1940s. Not only that but the chances that he fought in the war are quite high unless he worked for a chem cooperation. Wich again is unlikely bc he was around 20, freshly done with his degree probably.

Side note i would love to see that part of his story in s4!!

We talk about a man that saw the darkest parts of human history and is in an age where he can still reflect about it in very open minded manner.

So Of course he would support them!! He knows what can happen if you don’t support minorities. Plus the fact that he, even tho he absolutely fucked up anf tortured Janet, still sees them as his students at least and wants to support them in any way. (Especially after his development in s3)
