minyoung decided to audition to jyp when she was fifteen (inter. age), maintaining both her student and trainee life flawlessly
she was considered one of the golden trainees of jyp and a finalist of sixteen due to her reputation among netizens and jyp itself. but she terminated her contract during sixteen for unknown reasonsΒ
she was cast later on by a modelling company and only accepted the offer because of a childhood friend of hers, who had auditioned to the company
after three years of training, the company confirmed her debut alongside with five more girls, including her childhood friend
