Time came where you saw each other less and less. Law had become a Warlord and was always busy, while you were busy exploring the seas of the New World.

You two decided to meet up, it’s been many months since the last time. Following the vivre card he gave you, you sailed to his location.

Once you arrive near his ship, you anchor the ship, feeling nervous. You walked onto Law’s ship, meeting him on the deck alone.

“I’m glad you could make it.” Law said in seriousness.

“Yeah well it is important we talk.” You told him.

“You’re right, and that means you know why I called you here.” Law spoke.

“I’m afraid so.” You reply, looking down at your feet.

“I’m really sorry, y/n.” He apologizes.

“No it’s okay really, it’s just the right person, wrong time. You know?” You joke.

“Yeah, you’re right. Thank you for the time we spent together, I will cherish it.” Law said, with a serious look in his eye.

He replies by kissing your forehead. Then he looks out into the sea to share a few silent moments with you.

“I should start heading out, we are getting ready to head to a new island.” You break the silence after a few minutes.

“Okay, I wish you luck.” Law walked you to the ladder.

“Thank you, I’ll see you around?.” You look at him one last time.

“I’ll see you around.” Law reassured.

You went back to your ship, lifting the anchor, and sailing away, not looking back. Tears in your eyes, it hurt but you knew it was for the better. Your crew comforted you and joked around making you laugh.

You sighed, hopping out of bed and walking onto the deck. The cold breeze of the night hitting your skin and causing you to shiver. You just kept walking, until you reached a door, knocking on it softly.

“Come in.” You heard Whitebeard say from the other side.

Opening the door, you walked inside, closing it behind you.

“Pops.” You mumbled, tears still threatening to fall.

“My dear, Is everything alright? Come here.” He said, patting the spot next to him on his bed.

You walked over, climbing into Whitebeard's bed, looking down at your hands. Sniffling, and wiping your tears, you looked up at Whitebeard. His heart broke at the sight of your tear stained cheeks.

“It was another one of those nightmares.” You sniffled.

“I see, You’re welcome to sleep here tonight, my child.” He smiled softly, patting your head.

Whitebeard laid down, carefully pulling you onto his large chest. You laid down as Whitebeard brought a blanket over you and told you stories or adventures he went on when he was younger.

You smiled softly, curling up on his chest as he continued talking.

He spoke softly when he talked about his stories, making it easy for you to fall asleep. Closing your eyes, the sound of soft snores coming from you signaled to Whitebeard that you had fallen asleep.

Smiling to himself, he laid his head back. He wished these nightmares stopped, hating that you woke up with tears in your eyes. But he was glad he could be a source of comfort for you, always allowing you to come visit him during nights like these.

“May sweet dreams come visit you in your sleep, my dear.” He smiled, before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

“Your food will be right out.” She smiled, before walking away.

Rayleigh smiled at you and began to tell you about how he met Roger and the first adventures they went on. As he was telling the story, the waitress came by with the food you two ordered, setting the plates and drinks down.

“Enjoy your food.” She smiled.

“Your life seems so interesting, I’d love to hear more.” You said, taking a bite of food.

“I’ll tell you more later, tell me about yourself.” Rayleigh smiled.

You giggled, “Well I come from a small island in the West Blue.” You began to tell him, talking about your goals and why you became a captain. He listened to every word you said, smiling at how your eyes lit up when you talked about your crew. You two were there for an hour talking and enjoying the food.

“What do you say, how about we go get a hotel, I think I’d like to get to know you on a personal level.” Rayleigh smirked, standing up and reaching his hand out towards you.

He left the berries on the table and walked out with you hand in hand. He walked you to a fancy looking hotel, walking in and up to the counter, Rayleigh requested a room for the night. Taking the key and going to the room with you.

It’s been a year since you and Mihawk broke up. A year since he said you were too boring for him, that you didn’t deserve his love and kicked you out on your own. It was rough, you shed a lot of tears, struggling to find yourself.

Eventually you had decided to work on yourself that year, becoming a captain of a small crew, your bounty growing, and you had finally learned to stop needing Mihawk. You’ve learned to love yourself and you love your crew. You were happy and nothing could be better.

So why did Mihawk stop his ship at the same island as you? Why was he asking, no, demanding to your crew that he wanted to see you?

“He’s very persistent and won’t leave.” Your first mate said.

You sighed, getting up from your desk and walking out to the deck, looking over and seeing Mihawk looking up, waiting for you. Walking off the ship to where Mihawk was standing, you crossed your arms as you stood in front of him.

“What could you possibly want?” You asked, clearly not wanting to see him.

“I saw you became a captain. I’ve noticed your bounty spiked.” He said, looking down at you.

“Is that all you came for because I have better things to do than this.” You said, glaring up at him.

“Mi amor, I’m sorry, for all the hurtful things I've said in the past, it was rude of me, I realize life is boring without you in it, I still love you and I was wondering if you would like to try again.” He said, reaching his hand out to caress your cheek.

“You don’t deserve the right to call me that. You really think you can come here with that stupid little speech to win me back? Yeah, No not happening. You stopped, turning your head back to him.

“You lost that chance, Mihawk. Besides I’m dating someone, you might know him.” You said.

And as if he heard you, your boyfriend walked up and leaned on the railing.

“Give me a second, I’ll be right up.” You said, turning back towards Mihawk.

Mihawk froze, him? of all people, he thought, feeling his heart break. Was this what you felt when he broke up with you? Did he really think he could have you to himself again? No wonder you didn’t want him anymore, you had someone who would love you no matter what.

“Have a boring life, Mihawk.” You told him and walked back onto your ship, wrapping your arms around Shanks.

Walking back to the Victoria Punk after a hard fought victory against the marines. You guys arrived on the island a couple days ago, someone pissed off your captain a little too much which caused a ruckus within the town you were in, causing the unwanted attention of the marines that were in town.

Getting on the ship, everyone went to tend their wounds, eat and talk about who got the most kills besides captain and y/n. Kid just let them be, grabbing your wrist and guiding you to the bathroom. Closing the door behind you two, he went to sit on the edge of the tub. You went to grab the first aid bin, walking it over to Kid.

He stripped off his captain's coat, unbuckling his weapons harness and setting them aside. Taking out the supplies you needed, you sat between his legs, tending to his wounds, one being a deep gash on his shoulder. Cleaning it, then proceeding to give him stitches. He grunted in pain, mumbling curses under his breath.

“I got so many more kills than you.” Kid smirked. Trying to get a reaction out of you.

You pinched his side, getting him to scowl at you. “Yeah right, it was definitely ME. They must’ve hit your head.” You joked.

“You’re the one who hit your head, stupid.” He said pointing to the obvious blood on your forehead.

“You can shut up.” You rolled your eyes, continuing stitching his skin.

Once you were done you kissed the curve of where his shoulder meets his neck.

Kid helped you out of your clothes, sitting you down so he can clean your wounds. When he was done, the captain started a bath, waiting for it to fill up, and bringing you in with him.

You smiled at Kid, kissing him passionately, you pulled away, turning away from him and settling between his legs. He put his head on your shoulder, kissing it softly, then sighing contently.

You always loved moments like these, where you two were intimate and Kid showed his rare soft side. The rest of the crew saw how close you two were getting, they saw the way you found your way into Luffy's bed to cuddle on nights that were storming, or the way Luffy would share small bits of food with you. He treated you just slightly differently than anyone else.

So Nami gathered the rest of the crew while Luffy and y/n were asleep. Planning on gambling on their captains love life.

“So how long before they finally realize they like each other.” Nami asked, smirking.

“Well I've noticed that y/n and Luffy have officially moved into the same room. So who's to say they are already dating.” Robin mentioned.

“They are pretty oblivious though, so they could just not know.” Zoro butted in.

“Well I’m sure y/n would at least be able to acknowledge it.” Usopp said in your defense.

“Usopp's right, but would they be too scared to get rejected by our captain?” Nami asked, worried about that outcome.

The rest of the crew sat out of the conversation and voted in which of the choices could be. Franky, Brook and Sanji sided with Robin, Chopper agreed with Usopp, and worried about what Nami had said.

“Alright deal!” They all said in unison, betting a large amount of berries.

It’s been a few days and the crew have been all keeping an eye on you two, looking for signs to back up their side of the bet.

You started to notice, so once you knew you were alone with Luffy, which was right before you two went to bed. You decided to bring it up.

“The crew have been staring at us every time we are together.” You mentioned to Luffy, cuddled up against his chest.

“Yeah, They’re just being silly.” Luffy giggled.

“When do you plan on telling them?” You asked, smiling at your captain's playfulness.

“Some of them already know, maybe we just have to give the rest of them more hints.” He gave you a big smile.

“We have proof, so we just have to wait on them.” Sanji added.

Across the deck, Nami, Zoro Chopper and Usopp were watching, though they couldn’t hear a thing.

“So, what do you think they’re planning?” Usopp asks.

“Probably trying to find a way to cheat.” Zoro grumbled.

“No, they know something we don’t.” Nami butted in.

“Do you think they’re right?” Chopper asked.

“No, even if there is a chance Usopp is right that y/n confessing could be scary.” Zoro added.

“I don’t wanna think about that outcome.” Usopp and Chopper whined.

“All we can do is keep an eye on them, so let's go rest for tomorrow.” Nami said, walking to her room. The rest agreed and all went to their rooms.

The next morning you woke up, Luffy was getting dressed, and fixing his straw hat. You just laid there admiring your captain.

“Did I wake you?” Luffy asked.

You shook your head muttering a small ‘no’, sighing softly, before sitting up.

“You’re so handsome.” You told him.

He blushed, liking the compliments you always give him.

“And you’re so beautiful.” He says, walking towards you.

He gives you a soft peck on the lips, smiling at you.

“I think todays the day.” Luffy tells you.

You know exactly what he means, giving him a nod and smiling at him. You get up and get dressed as he goes out to see if breakfast is done. You follow shortly behind, walking to the kitchen, to meet up with the rest of the crew.

Sitting next to Luffy like always, he intertwined your fingers with him, under the table. You blushed at the action, thanking Sanji as he set your plate down and giving you one of his daily compliments.

After breakfast, the crew all relaxed as the seas were nice today as they sailed to the next island. You, Luffy, Usopp and Chopper all played like usual. After playing for a bit you all calmed down, Usopp and Chopper decided to go fishing, and Luffy decided to drag you to the end of the ship.

Reaching his destination, he turned to hug you. Kissing you softly, and looking at you, you could see the love he had for you in the way his eyes looked at you.

“Should we just tell them?” You asked quietly.

“I want them to figure it out, it's fun this way.” He giggled.

“So you two are dating!?” Nami yelled. Catching the attention of the rest of the crew.

“So you finally caught us.” Luffy laughed. As the rest of the crew showed up.

“So Robin was right?” Zoro questioned.

“Ha ha, yup.” Luffy smiled.

“I’m so glad they were right.” Chopper cried, running up to hug you.

You just giggled at Chopper's behavior, patting his head to calm the doctor.

“I’m now glad we don’t have to hide it.” Luffy giggles.

“Me too.” You smile.

Later that day the bet was settled, Robin, Franky, Sanji and Brook had won. Luffy didn’t mind his crew betting, because at least they were having fun, and now he gets to show you how much loves whenever he wants, in his extravagant ways.

“A picnic basket, I know we are in the middle of the sea right now, but we could sneak off to the crows nest and have a little picnic.” You said, fiddling with your fingers.

He nodded and got up, grabbing the basket and reaching a hand out for you. Grabbing his hand, you got up and followed him to the ladder and climbed up to the crows nest, Zoro following behind you. You took a seat as Zoro closed the hatch. Sitting down next to you he set the picnic basket between you two. You opened it, grabbing the small blanket inside and laying it out on the floor and taking the food out and setting it down on the blanket.

You both sat down on the blanket, as you poured some drinks for the two of you. Zoro looked at the food, his favorites, white rice with sea king meat prepared beautifully.

“Who made the food?” Zoro asked.

“I did, I wanted it to be special.” You smiled softly at him.

“It looks amazing.” Zoro said, taking a bite. “Tastes even better, thank you for making it.”

“You're welcome love, I’m glad you like it.” You blushed.

You both continued eating and drinking, talking here and there and sharing some laughs. An idea popped up in your head, you and Zoro never shared your first kiss yet.

“We should play a game.” You grinned.

“What kind of game?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“Truth or dare.” You said, taking a sip of your ale, knowing he’ll choose dare.

“Okay, you start it.” He smirked.

He pulled away with a smirk seeing how red you were.

You huffed, grabbing the collar of his green coat, pulling him into another kiss. He pulled you down with him to lay down as you pulled away, holding your close.
