i really love bi headcanons (true). and i hate going against fanon takes (lie). but rachel berry is a lesbian in my mind (true). like i know quinn is often perceived as repressed and using all her relationships with men as status moves, and there's absolutely merit to that. however, in my mind, rachel does much of the same. it's all rooted in wanting to be the best and be seen as the best and be loved in a way she didn't feel she was before glee club. she views romantic love as an avenue for that, and romantic validation from men as a way of improving her social standing and having the idyllic successful life. could she be into them? for sure. is she? not to me, no.
