A list of manifestation techniques I have tried and my overall review of it!

Disclaimer: everyone is different and so this isn’t saying which is better, and more just an overview of my personal experience with them ! 💖 I am also NOT a professional at this, these are techniques I found through friends, online, therefore I am not an expert at this field!

In no particular order at all:

1. Visualisation & Imagery Techniques 👀

For visualisation & Imagery techniques, which I include vision boards, daydreaming etc, this was the most effective for me! Since I am a daydreamer anyway and I have a wild imagination lol, this came to me naturally and it didn’t feel like something I had to do outside of my routine. It was the most easiet since no paper, pen or anything is required. Creating a vision board in pinterest helped me a lot to embody the energy and imagine the situation irl by just blankly staring at the pics. Also bringing up pics that are related to my manifestation, imagining myself in there, what would I be doing, how would I feel, those where the type of questions I’d ask myself!

Going to places that are related to my manifestation and imagining, visualising the scenario it really helped me be in the situation I am manifesting about and made me self reflect if I was ready and how I’d feel, so I could be prepared for when the manifestation arrived.

Using this, what came true? - one of my manifestation was to meet a kpop idol. They were coming to my country that week, and I saw fans on Instagram bumping into them on the streets. As I was packing my stuff for that concert, I imagined what it’d be like to bump into them randomly on the streets, so for fun I sat, and visualised it. I could feel how nervous and excited and shocked I’d be. After that I left it. The next day I went to travel for the concert, and lo and behold, I bumped into the idol I had wanted to manifest to meet after 3 yrs!! Visualising and really feeling the energy worked for me a lot!! And I highly recommend it to people who are natural daydreamers like myself and have a good imagination 💖

2. Water manifestation 💧

This one compared to the visualisation method required a bit more effort since I am essentially speaking and writing my intentions into water. As someone who always forgets to drinks water regularly 😂, this manifestation wasnt as natural as visualisation. For my water manifestations, I write my desires on a sticky note and place it on the water bottle, and let it charge with moonlight (new moon and full moon) - making it more potent in energy. I struggled with keeping it a regular consistent routine and sometimes I’d forget 😂. I also had to find a big enough bottle to use (a bigger bottle is better so you don’t have to constantly refill, speak you intentions, charge it repeatedly all the time.) Whenever i charged it under the full moon, my goodness did it have powerful effects. Whenever I drank the water, i got a tingly sensation and those nights my dreams were heavily emotionally charged.

Effectiveness wise I noticed it worked better for small manifestations related to self growth and internal healing rather than huge manifestations for me. I do believe the reason being is because of the way I went out the routines, since I never wrote huge wishes for these. With my inconsistent efforts 😂 this manifestation was simple! And good for small wishes!

Using this, what came true? - I manifested one of my old friends to text me back, and reunite with them. I also got clearer with my intentions on finding a partner, feeling a lot more prepared if someone special ever comes into my life. Healed a lot of emotional scars and wounds from my past! (It was all very much related to self growth, and inner healing for water manifestation. Since water rules emotions! That makes a lot of sense! 💖)

3. Meditation 🧘‍♀️

Now I know, this is a very popular one! And yes I do believe it is a fantastic way of manifest, however I ended up falling asleep to almost all the meditation routines I gave myself 😭 It’s best during meditation to NOT fall asleep, since you want to be conscious when hearing the affirmations and guided meditations. During the times I didn’t fall asleep, it really uplifted my soul! Unlike the other manifestation methods, I felt incredibly enlightened, and every single one of them, I open my eyes feeling so relaxed (maybe a bit too relaxed in some 😂.) The me when I begin the meditation, almost never is the same person when it ends, you are bound to feel so refreshed and calm after it, and it’s such an enlightening experience!

Sadly I wasn’t consistent to meditation, since the meditation I listened to were quite long, I tried to find shorter ones, but I never stuck with one and constantly switched! Which was my bad, because I have such low attention span 😭

Was it effective in manifesting? - It definitely helped my journey! It enlightened and brought my manifestations closer, by rewiring my mindset, shaping and renewing a whole new side of myself, which is incredibly important to bringing the new life you want into your current lifestyle! 💖

4. Scripting 📝

For my scripting process, I wrote down all the characteristics I wanted in my future spouse and how I wanted to feel in the relationship (since I wanted to manifest my significant other.) This was something new to me, since I am someone who never really writes or journels anything, however this allowed me to get very clear with what I wanted and face myself harshly about what I truly needed. On top of that, writing in pen made the process feel more concrete, so I had to deeply think about it.

I ended up writing a 4 page list of everything I wanted. It’s best that once you’ve written it, to say it out loud to yourself, which I didn’t do 😭 Again, because I forgot!

Was it effective in manifesting? - Absolutely! It allowed me to get clear on what I wanted, and I would say this was fundamental and the grounding basis to what makes you understand exactly it is you want in your manifestation, forcing yourself to be specific! So in my case, if I go on dates, I can easily see what kind of person matches and don’t match the energy since I’ve already written it down.

5. Verbal Manifestation 🗣️

Now, this one I sort of made up myself but I am pretty sure this exists and is a well known manifestation! However this was when I spoke my manifestations to other people, by putting it into sentences such as “what if…” or “imagine”. So even just talking to friends, I would openly say “What if I met my idol today?”. “Imagine this actually happened today.” I personally believe doing this creates a portal for the universe to work its magic because I am willingly opening any opportunity for the universe to present its gift to me.

This was an incredibly fun manifestation, not only does it create great conversations with your friends! But it also allowed me to think of really fun scenarios and crazy ways my manifestations could come to me! And when it does happen, which has by the way, it is the most beautiful enlightening experience ever!

Using this, what came true? Was it effective in manifesting? - 100000%. A story time, going back to how I met my idol. Years ago, me and my friend have a running joke, where we say we will meet my idol when they are filming. It was a stupid, silly inside joke we have and we constantly talk about it. Throwback to the week we were seeing the bands concert, travelling there, my trains were delayed and Ubers all cancelled. I couldn’t believe what happened so I just joked to my friends saying “imagine this happened because the universe is trying to lead us to Yeonjun?” (Yeonjun is the name of my idol). I had joked about the COUNTLESS times when travelling, because the delays were getting ridiculous and I frankly lost it 😂 10 mins later, after an Uber finally got us, we bump into my idol, FILMING! So yes, whatever you say out loud, does play a huge part to manifesting, so I have learned to always say nice things 😂
