Hi my name's Pol and this is a Pinned/Intro post while I set stuff up
I'm Karolishko (lair #297349) on FR
Main blog is @evilpol so the follows/likes will come from there.
I've been playing Flight Rising since 2017 but I've never really interacted with the tumblr community and I still barely know what I'm doing while my lair and lore are in a constant state of disarray. I love earth-coloured dragons and my ever-growing dirt and dust army. I'm just a giant nerd that likes video games and has too much free time on his hands.
Currently in Wind but I've been around a bunch of other flights and tend to change occasionally because I can't stick with a decision to save my life :')
Disclaimer: I am not a writer in any form or capacity and English is not my first language, therefore my lore and writing can be messy.
At the core of my lore is the city of Tempos, an independent and influential merchant city that found its fortune as a trading post, serving as a port and a stop for adventurers and caravans coming through, establishing trade with various other Flight groups, enabling legitimate trading routes, cultural exchanges and diplomacy as well as smuggling and other criminal activities.
Tempos is a mixed bag of dragons and beastclans from all over the world, bustling with life and trade, and that chaotic nature is reflected in the city's architecture: lacking the aesthetic of any single flight but rather being an array of various building techniques and styles sprawling upwards in a multi-layered amalgamation of buildings, difficult to navigate unless you know your way around.
And on top of it all in a floating residence sits Danelius, an old guardian who is to thank for the city's flourishing prosperity. He is called The Merchant King by the city's denizens, despite having no actual connection to any royalty, nor does Tempos recognize any kings, for its residents pride themselves on their independence from any monarchs or deities and other powerful organizations of Sorneith.
Tempos is a haven for all sorts of dragons, be it merchants and artisans, mercenaries and adventurers, or even political exiles and criminals who found a safe haven within the city, there is something for everyone in the sprawling metropolis... If you can carve your way in it.
Other lore locations include the Reach (Earth, within Cairnstone Rest) - an excavating outpost funded by the merchant lords of Tempos and Junktown (borderlands between Water, Fire and Lightning), a scavenger town full of misfits and the birthplace of Danelius.
