i have thought about the end of this exchange at least once a day since i first watched the last dragon.

An early version of the bedroom scene in last dragon! Some noticeable differences is that in this one, Moomintroll says “Snufkin, don’t worry, I’ll be gentle” whereas in the final cut he just says “don’t worry, I’ll be gentle”. Because of this, there’s a few more frames of animation as he steadies himself on the chair. His noises as he swings at the dragon sound different, too.
