Did you know that the Mekong Worm (Amynthas mekogianus) is believed to be the longest worm on the planet? These worms, found in the Mekong River basin in southeast Asia, have been recording growing up to 3m long. Despite their considerable length, they're very narrow and slender. Unlike other earthworms that live in grasslands, these worms live in muddy ground and submerged earth.
