i forget if i've mentioned this before on here, but when i was about 5 i was obsessed with monsters inc and watched it at least twice a week not because i especially liked it as a movie but simply because i was passionately in love with randall. and in fact the very first fanfiction i ever wrote was a monsters inc whump fanfiction about me finding randall in the swamp after he got beaten up with a shovel and tenderly nursing him back to health. all this to say i have been the person i am from an incredibly young age

be proud of ‘small’ achievements that are big for you as a disabled person. share them with trusted people, share them online, write them in your journal or your notes app. forge a space for yourself. don’t shrug your successes off just bc they don’t look like much to abled people.

When you meet Edward Elric he gives off the impression that he's the short-tempered hot-headed "violence is the answer to all life's questions" kind of protagonist, and it's in fact incredible character craft that he's actually the character who ends the series with a negative-3 kill count.

God's worst soldier Edward Elric. Showed up as the youngest member of the Amestrian army, took millions of dollars from them, never followed a single order, helped dismantle their fascist regime, left with a lower kill count than he arrived with, then fucked off to go be a house-husband. Character of all time.

You know, when you said "negative-3 kill count," I, who haven't seen the anime, thought, "He resurrected 3 people?????" But I'm seeing here on the wiki that apparently resurrection in this anime is a terrible idea.

unfortunate truth of reality is that oftentimes 15 year olds will say/do/believe some stupid bullshit because they are 15 but telling them that they believe that because they are 15 is probably the most counterproductive thing in the entire universe

The world is an absolute cesspool of shit. If the idea of two fictional characters smooching makes you happy, you should absolutely write, draw, and consume all of it, proudly.
