Tea breaks sometimes turn into experiments! 💫

Been getting very into saké lately! Went and toured the Saké One Brewery in Forest Grove, OR and got to understand more on how it's all made. Neat! 🤓

My dad recently challenged my sister and me to a cook-off over the best short ribs recipe. Dad went with a classic red wine braise, sister did a version inspired by the cola short ribs from The Bear, and I went with Alison Roman's recipe using a savory broth and chopped lemon and wowwwweeee was it good! My husband and I also decided it would be a great excuse to have a saké tasting at home and bought a few small bottles from the store to go with it all, so fun! No one lost, everyone was a winner!! Loved taking these photos while I cooked, hoping to do more of this! ⭐️
