I'm responsible for a very large family 👨👩👧👦:
👴 My father is elderly and needs care.
👶 My young children are innocent.
🧠 My brother has a mental disability, can't work, and has children of his own.
🤰 My wife is pregnant and needs care amidst a complete lack of basic necessities. She needs so much, the simplest of which is clothing.
👧👧 My children are Salwa and Massa. My little Massa was born during the height of the war. We were living in my sister's house when my wife went into labor. We were trapped and couldn't leave the house because of the intense shelling all around us. Miraculously, by the grace of God, my wife gave birth to Massa at home.
When we finally managed to leave a week later, the occupation forces demolished my sister's house.
Now we live in tents inside Gaza, destitute. The tents offer no protection from the heat or the winter. In the winter, we suffered greatly, and in the summer, the children developed skin diseases from the extreme heat.
There is no income… no work… and prices are sky-high. 🔥
We are living through harsh days, caught between hunger and fear. We have nothing but hope in God and in your hearts. 🙏 I never imagined I would have to ask for help, but today… I sincerely reach out to you:

Until now, the suffering continues, with shortages of food, medicine, and clothing. I ask you for your prayers and support.

not seeing a lot of people on here talking about ICE murdering another man yesterday. His name was Lorenzo Salgado Arajou. He was a Mexican man living in Huston Texas. He was killed at age 52 and lived the past 35 years here in the USA, and was in the process of obtaining a work permit. He was shot and killed during a traffic stop that ICE claims was part of a targeted operation, and claimed he was “weaponizing his vehicle”- the same claim ICE agents made when they shot and murdered Renee Good.
During the stop, Lorenzo had 3 coworkers with him in his truck who have all been taken into ICE custody.
His family described Lorenzo as a hardworking family man who didn’t deserve to be killed. All he wanted was to provide for his wife and see his sons become great people. His eldest son recognized his father by his cries and pleas when trying to identify who the victim was.
The Salgado Araujo family has set up a gofundme to help with funeral and legal costs, and to help keep their family supported since Lorenzo was the sole provider.

We used to actually celebrate the ones we have. Used to be that President's Day and Memorial Day and Veteran's Day and Labor Day would be actual days off for most people and they'd attend parades and picnics with their families. Now it just means that the banks and government offices are closed.
Thanksgiving used to be a big holiday, much bigger than Halloween, where the whole extended family got together for a feast. With families shrinking, that's also not as much of a thing as it used to be.

Yesterday, her condition became much worse , I can’t stop replaying those terrifying moments in my mind. Standing beside her hospital bed, watching her struggle, feeling completely powerless… it’s a pain I can’t put into words. The doctors told us she urgently needs this heart procedure, but we’re still waiting because we don’t have the money.😔

I really can and will blame the 9-5 for everything. "We're in a loneliness epidemic" well, we have to spend a third of our day interacting with people in a professional way that makes forming real friendships difficult and then we're peopled out by the time we're done. "People are eating more and more unhealthily" people have to spend more than a third of their day doing work related tasks and they don't want to spend their tiny amount of free time making food. "People aren't involved in their local communities" after spending more than a third of their day doing work related things people are tired and also all those community events take place during normal working hours. "People need to get more hobbies" after spending more than a third of their day working, people are TIRED and don't want to do anything that takes yet more energy. "Literacy is dying" to maintain your critical thinking skills you need to read/watch things that make you think and after spending more than a third of your day doing work related stuff you are TIRED and don't want to expend even more brainnpower. "People need to get outside more" People. Are. TIRED. Because they have to spend all of their time working or preparing for work or recovering from work or doing all the chores they couldn't stay on top of because of work. I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. And due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to get by. These past few months have been absolute hell, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.
However, I desperately need that kindness again, as I wasn't able to pay my bills last month because I was behind on my rent, and I've been trying to keep my sister afloat during her benefit sanctions. I'm struggling quite a lot to pay them now. I owe a total of £208.35 in bill payments and fees, which is due before I receive my welfare, which I don't receive until the 31st!!
Again, I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would mean a lot, and sharing helps just as much.
