how to stop worrying & love your own apocalypse

yeah, i was dogma. the people who outed me were holding it over my head as a way to keep me in their pocket, and honestly? i’m glad i’m out. it’s not a threat anymore. it feels relieving now that i don’t have that sword of damocles over my head. i was moving blogs anyway because the tag is dead, and as i’m entering the industry it just doesn’t make sense for me to hold onto the neotag, and hold onto everything here. 

if refusing to stay quiet when someone admits to me they consumed child porn is the reason this has to come out, then i think this is the right way to sacrifice dogma.

anyway, it was real. to the people still following this blog, i’ll see you later. i don’t think i’ll be giving out my new url anymore since frankly i don’t want any of this following me to a new place, but if we were mutuals you can still hit me up. 

it’s time for me to bail on this name and this blog. i’m gonna be migrating over to a new one, and continuing to post there, including developing Nowhere and my other projects. i just need somethin’ fresh.

BIG SAME. your arts a huge inspiration, and one of the reasons i actually, like, made a neoblog and joined the tag was cause i kept seeing your nowhere stuff and my mind imploded in a good way. everytime i see finch and metz a year is added to my life tbh (your art in general actually, the way you draw hands and stuff is so expressive like god damn bean)

i’m so glad i’m able to inspire people. that’s a good feeling. i’m hoping w my time between jobs i’ll be able to, at bare minimum, make more content that will inspire more people and generate more art by others

maybe its just the fact that its almost 1am but.. im so emotionally moved to hear that ppl actually are into my content?? makes me feel good and like im doing somethin worthwhile, AND IM SO GLAD it helped others and inspired them!!! that’s what art is for babey!!!

trouble is okay, i think! i’ve gotta sit down and dedicate time to writing out exactly where everyone is right now since the current comic takes place like. WELL before the events of what i’d consider the main timeline? like, hypothetically 10 years prior to the events of Go West!

i’ve been busy this past few weeks helping prep my mom for her upcoming surgery, making sure i can run the house while she’s down and out, so between that and absolutely pushing my body too far the other day and ending up getting myself Too Sick, i’ve been trapped in this cycle of “wanna work. got work to do. wanna draw. got shit to draw.” and “if i move too much my kidney might shoot out my esophagus” 

the only fuckin thing i’ve managed to do is work more on my humanizations, and make this dude.

i salvaged his concept from Bunkertown (it’s too spoilery to talk about his original concept unfort) but now he’s a robot who’s working with the Rust for unspecified reasons. his name is Atom (never got a “real” name, so he just calls himself by the brand of robot he is), he’s distant, work minded, and sticks to his assignments. he isolates himself most of the time, only ever really interacting w/ Protts or Arbolic and Skin.
