Apologies, everyone, for how late this post is coming out. There were quite a few… delays, during the process of creating this piece. Although, that being said, I drew a little something about a month ago to celebrate the now passed anniversary of this blog. I hope you all enjoy, even if it seems there were some complications trying to fix an error made with one of my colleagues faces. I still can’t quite figure it out, so this’ll have to do for now.

I hc that shedletsky was already buff b4 being forsakened but the spectre forgot to nerf actual body so Shedletsky has the ultimate sleeper build and he's so buff trust 🥹
He 100% had to be nerfed and thus gained the best kind of build in my humblest of opinions

You are not "reclaiming" Forsaken characters by changing their name. You just did nothing. It's still the same character made by the same horrible people used in the same context and universe.
If you don't want to associate with this game, I completely understand, but then don't. Don't send us anything.

i will be analyzing certain aspects of the wonderful poem ferland has oh so graciously provided us with.

time in faerie realms is often distorted (perhaps you can call it the turning of hours…)
“set down your haste and the weight of your name”
with the fae, names hold a lot of power. giving it up to a fae means you’re essentially handing over yourself to them and they can do whatever they want with you. so the weight of your name is worth far more than gold
“There is no keeping, no losing, no claim
No bargain is spoken, no promise is pressed”
bargains, promises, keeping, losing, and claiming. all buzzwords i’ve seen pop up around faerie stories/fanfiction very often. and they seem to be trying to convince us that they mean no harm.
also i might be stretching with this one, but notice how the first line is the only one that doesn’t use this font (chat).
maybe the chat font is meant to represent some sort of enchantment? just a thought…
