Natasha had often wished that she could make time to travel. That is, traveling for pleasure, rather then for some sort of mission. She had been all over the world and still felt as though she had seen hardly any of it. So, she had been truly happy when Modi had agreed to go on a trip with her. The two had literally thrown darts at a map as they were blindfolded and chosen where they wanted to go first from there. 

Which is how the couple had ended up in the middle of nowhere, China. 

Having gotten caught out in the rain without umbrellas or much in the way of jackets, the pair ducked into what turned out to be a small remote shrine. 

Their laughter and playful teasing soon gave way to touching, kissing and soft moans. 

“Modi, please,” the whimper fell from Natasha’s lips, as she attempted to press herself ever closer to the man she loved. 

That was all the prompting needed. 

It wasn’t long before the god was settled between the agent’s thighs making her moan and cling to him. 

Some time later, as the couple were cleaning up, Natasha began to laugh when questioned, she flashed a grin at lover.

Except it wasn’t okay. 

Nothing was okay and Juliet was very aware of that fact. 

It was all that was in her mind. As frost, cold and tears flowed from her. 

Pain. 

So much pain and intense anger. 

Cold anger. 

Everything was wrong. 

Nothing was alright. 

And it was all her fault. 

Everything was her fault and that hurt most of all. 

It was also the only thought that echoed within her mind. 

Echoed continually, as the pain and anger ran through her and seemed to become more intense by the moment. As she sunk slowly to the ground beneath her feet and the flow of ice that she had created. 

“I get it! I’m older than dirt!”

                                                 “Oh no you are not older than dirt, you are older                                                      than the existence of dust in the universe”

“Why do I put up with you?”

                                                  “Cause you love me.”
