[ Obey Me! ] Sleeping Together [ Demon Brothers ]
Lucifer:
○ The greatest challenge of sleeping with Lucifer is getting him into bed to sleep in the first place. He’s a busy man and a dutiful one at that, so he tends not to sleep very much. It takes quite a bit of begging, convincing, and maybe even a little blackmail to get Lucifer to bed at a decent time.
○ Lucifer only has the bare basics on his bed since he doesn’t sleep very often. If you want fluffy pillows and soft fuzzy blankets you’ll have to bring them yourself. Lucifer will, however, admit to seeing the appeal of such things once you introduce him to them. He may even buy some that suit his tastes so you have them when you opt to sleep with him.
○ A very still sleeper. Lucifer doesn’t move much in his sleep, so he’s pretty easy to get comfortable with. A saint in his own way, he won’t even complain if you do - though if you’re particularly squirmy in bed he’ll tease you a fair bit in the morning.
○ Lucifer doesn’t like to hold you too tightly, but he doesn’t mind if you hold onto him. His favourite way to sleep with you though, is, hands down, having your head on his chest while he sleeps on his back. It’s close without being suffocating.
○ Lucifer almost always wakes up before you. He has early mornings everyday and he doesn’t want to make you wake up that early. Of course, he thinks it’s sweet if you get off to see him off before council meetings, but he would never insist that you do so. Often times he slips out of bed as silently as he can, offering a kiss to your forehead before slipping out, sometimes leaving you a note to bid you good morning.
Mammon:
○ A restless sleeper, he’s a little hard to pin down and cuddle with. He’s awfully squirmy, and, with flailing limbs and a twisting body he tends to shove you around a little in his sleep - he’s definitely punched you in the face at least once. He talks in his sleep too, so if you’re a light sleeper or need silence to fall asleep than good luck.
○ Also a blanket hog. He’s the avatar of greed, after all - it wouldn’t do for him to share the blankets! No matter how many blankets you put on the bed or how tightly you wind them around yourself, they somehow always end up around him by the end of the night
○ Fortunately, Mammon is something of a furnace, especially in his sleep so you may not even need the blankets. He’s a little stifling in the summer when you’re already too hot, but he’s a godsend in the winter. Cuddle up to him and blankets or no, and no matter the temperature outside, and you’ll be warm all night.
○ Despite being so squirmmy Mammon insists on cuddling. It’s a little difficult, but he whines far too much when you protest to settling in close to him. He’s also far too strong to break away from when he pulls you into his arms and insists that you should be happy that the Great Mammon even wants to cuddle you in the first place
○ Honestly the best way to compromise is to sleep right on top of him. Mammon honestly doesn’t mind because he’s happy as long as you’re close, and with you on top of him he squirms less. Plus, he can’t steal the blankets if you’re on top of him!
Leviathan:
○ Really shy about sharing a bed, especially at first. He’s very stiff and lays with his arms at his sides staring straight up at the ceiling because he’s too nervous to look at you, or even to move. If you want to cuddle, or even for him to relax enough to get any sleep, you’ll have to make the first moves to get comfortable.
○ Touch him at all and Leviathan is jumping out of his skin and asking you what you think you’re doing. He doesn’t mind, really, it’s just a knee-jerk reaction. Give him a second to adjust and settle into your grip and he’ll be cuddling into you in no time.
○ Once Leviathan gets used to having you at his side when he sleeps he can’t sleep without you. He always wants you to cuddle him, whether it be by cradling his head into your chest or wrapping yourself around his arm or side. He’ll stare at you with sad puppy eyes refusing to ask for what he really wants until you finally give in and cuddle him to sleep.
○ Like Mammon, he talks in his sleep. Unlike Mammon, he mumbles very softly. Having his gripping to your arm and mumbling about his video games is absolutely adorable. Leviathan gets embarrassed when you tease him about it, but his reactions are so cute that’s it’s always worth imitating his sleep-talk in the morning over breakfast.
○ Hugs in his sleep. Leviathan will grab at you and pull you into bone crushign hugs in his sleep. Of course, he always denies it in the morning because he’s terribly embarrassed about it, but he does it almost every night once he’s comfortable sleeping with you.
Asmodeus:
○ Sleeping with Asmodeus means putting up with his whole bedtime routine. It takes him about an hour to get ready for bed, brushing his hair, putting on creams, picking out the perfect pajamas for the night… if you want, though, he’s more than happy to include you. Rubbing cream on one another’s backs before sleep is the dream for Asmo - he likes including you in his beauty routines.
○ Asmo hates sleeping alone, so he’ll probably call you to bed when he goes to sleep - that is, super super early. He needs his beauty sleep, after all, and so do you! You’re already beautiful, of course, but staying up late is bad for your skin! He’ll pout and whine until you finally agree to go to bed with him until you gradually start getting sleepy early in the night. Your whole sleep schedule bends to accommodate him before you know it.
○ A super clingy sleeper! He doesn’t sleep well without snuggling up to something, and most of the time that something is you. Sorry if you like your personal space, but Asmodeus doesn’t know what that is. At the very least he’ll be clinging to your arm while you sleep, but if he gets his way he’s holding you tight with one of your heads pressed to the other’s chest.
○ Goodnight kisses!! Asmodeus won’t sleep without giving you goodnight kisses first, which generally means snuggling up to you in bed and kissing you all over your face and sometimes elsewhere until your giggling and telling him to stop before he convinces you to go further.
○ Handsy. Even if he’s not trying to get under your clothes Asmo will be grabbing you over them. He can’t help but cop a feel while you’re cuddling - you’re just too tempting! It’s not uncommon for you to fall asleep with his head still in your chest and his hand still on your ass.
Satan:
○ Satan is a little passive to the idea of sleeping with you. It’s not that he doesn’t like having you at his side while he drifts off, but he often pulls late nights reading or studying and he doesn’t want to mess up your sleep schedule by making you stay up for him. Usually he encourages you to go to sleep much earlier than he does - though he has a hard time resisting if you insist on staying up with him.
○ If you do stay up Satan will have to put his foot down when he sees you drifting off beside him. It’s not unusual for Satan to carry a half-asleep you to bed and tuck you in with a kiss to your forehead before going back to his reading. If you’re particularly cute tugging at his arm and begging him not to go you may convince Satan to bring his book to bed.
○ Since Satan is often awake while you’re trying to sleep, falling asleep on his lap or shoulder isn’t uncommon. He thinks it’s adorable, so it usually earns a chuckle while his fingers card through your hair, helping you to fall asleep.
○ He won’t admit it, but Satan rather loves coming to bed and finding you already there. There’s something comforting about slipping into bed next to the person he loves, knowing they trust him enough to sleep so soundly in his bed. He’s always extremely careful not to wake you up when he slides in beside you.
○ On rare occasions when the two of you do fall asleep together Satan isn’t a huge cuddler. He doesn’t mind being close, but he doesn’t want to be completely wrapped up in one another. He’s perfectly fine just being beside you. If you’re more the cuddly type a good compromise is hand-holding. Satan is more than happy to hold your hand while you slowly drift off and you’ll often find that he’s still holding it even by morning.
Beelzebub:
○ Beel is mostly great to sleep with. He’s very laid back, and happy to do whatever you like to make you more comfortable. Cuddles? Ok. No cuddles? Ok. Extremely accommodating and happy to do whatever makes you comfortable, and helps you to sleep.
○ If you do want cuddles Beelzebub is the best snuggler. He’s pleasantly warm without being too hot, and his large frame makes it easy for him to envelope you and make you feel safe and secure. It’s so comfortable in his arms that it’s actually hard not to fall asleep while he’s holding you.
○ Beelzebub has a habit of playing with your hair while the two of you are trying to sleep. He doesn’t even really think about it - he just kind of finds his fingers wrapping into your locks and rifling them or brushing through them. It’s actually quite relaxing and tends to put you to sleep.
○ Unfortunately, he snores. Once Beelzebub is asleep he sounds a little like a tank. Feel free to elbow him awake for your own peace. Eventually you’ll get used to it, but in the beginning it is a tad hard to sleep through - and probably has you worrying a little.
○ The other downside to sleeping with Beelzebub is his tendency to wake up and leave in the middle of the night. He gets too hungry to sleep often, so he sneaks out to get midnight snacks when his stomach starts rumbling. He’s very careful to try not to wake you up, at least - and if he does happen to do so he’ll always invite you to go raid the fridge with him.
Belphegor:
○ Belphegor can sleep through almost anything and in almost any conditions, so you’re free to set up the room as you like. Temperature, number of blankets and pillows, light, sound - all of it is up to you. As long as he doesn’t have to do it for you, you’re free to set up the room pretty much as you like.
○ Always down to nap. If you’re ever tired and want him next to you while you sleep just let him know - this is one thing he’s happy to indulge you in. If you need a nap in the middle of the day and can’t sleep without him, if you can’t sleep and just want some company, or if you’re struggling with your demons and need someone next to you to silence them, Belphegor will be there.
○ While he doesn’t usually initiate cuddles Belphegor isn’t really against them. He might tease you a little for being needy if you complain but he really doesn’t mind if you cuddle up close to him in the middle of the night (or day.) However you want to sleep with him is fine with Belphegor, though you’ll have to be the one initiating it. Still, you’re welcome to hug him, sleep on his chest, hold his hand… whatever you want, really.
○ Belphegor sleeps a good portion of the day so he really doesn’t expect you to sleep with him all the time. While he doesn’t really mind if you want him at your side whenever you sleep (any opportunity to nap is a good opportunity to him) he won’t insist that you stay with him every time he sleeps. He doesn’t even know if humans are supposed to sleep that much, anyway.
○ Belphegor looks so soft and peaceful in his sleep, it’s hard not to kiss him. As long as you don’t go overboard go right ahead - if you wake him up with your affections, though, he’ll be a little grouchy.
