-she doesnt gaf much about fashion. she's very functionality over style in most aspects of her life, and just prefers wearing stuff that's comfy/temperature-suited. she actually had to spend some money on fancy clubwear to work at sinema.

-valerie convinced her to quit working there after she went "missing"/died. she still hasn't told val about the werewolf stuff and plays dumb every time she gets conspiratory about the weird shit she saw at the station. deep down, val knows she's lying, but she's too afraid to pry out of fear of pushing her away. so it's kinda just this unspoken silence between them. hayden's terrified of letting her in on it since she's the only family she has left.

-hayden also doesn't need her kidney meds anymore since she heals much faster. she did as a chimera since the healing could be a little wonky then, but once she was bit, all the problems from before completely vanished. so she's still working overtime to pay for meds she doesn't need. she's THAT stubborn about keeping val safe

-demonstrably, she's a taurus. id say aries moon and cap rising but im still really new to astrology so like. who knows

-she's really distant from scott. not because she doesn't like him, she thinks he's a sweetie and is infinitely grateful to him for saving her life. she's just really messed up about authority figures since her parents died. and she's neurotic enough about val-- having an alpha to worry about too would make her sick. still though, the tug towards him is there. she wishes it wasn't.

-she can be overly blunt about things. she doesn't beat around the bush and sugarcoat if she's got a problem. that's not to say she starts fights, far from it, she just communicates if she needs to. it's hard to get along with the girls on the soccer team for this reason sometimes.

-she is FAR more english and history-pilled than math and science, which is why liam was gobsmacked when she answered mr. douglas's question correctly. she usually needs to be there for mason's study groups to even have a CHANCE at passing her calc exams.

-ALSO SHES A LESBIAN WITH CATHOLIC GUILT. she had hella comphet with liam and also really REALLY cared about him which she mistook for (and wanted to be) romantic feelings. when the slow realization dawned on her that she didn't like him back, it took her a while to accept, and the guilt damn near ate her alive.

-she realized retroactively that she really liked tracy, too. she has very complicated feelings about that.

-hayden's not very good at feeling her feelings. typically she shoves them down so she can just focus on what she needs to do. it works fine until it comes crashing down.

-she really values corey as a friend. obviously she values liam and mason too, but the two of them get eachother in a different way, not only because of the lab, but because of their financial struggles, homophobic upbringings, etc etc. he's also the most openly petty out of her friends and she needs someone to be a hater with.
