Man has it been a WILD past few days! Finally got a chance to look through and edit some of these photos from the protests we’ve been a part of... and it’s already SO crazy to look back on! 😳 really feels like history in the making. 🙌🏻 Major shout out to my husband @ncarter_photo for capturing these iconic moments!! ❤️❤️ he has been bringing his A-GAME to these protests... literally SPRINTING from one end of the line to the other, in efforts to capture it all from every angle. ...show off. 😒😂😉 So grateful for this man though. All day, every day! ❤️🥰 Best partner in crime! 🙌🏻 To say the least... this past week has been one of the most eye opening and inspiring weeks of my entire life. I am beyond honored to be a part of this movement and to be on the right side of history! and I only encourage all of you to do the same. @aalexandriabishop came up with the brilliant idea to bring flowers down to the protests, wrap them up with love notes, and hand them out to people in Detroit to boost spirits and morale as we were now on day 14 of the protests. As well as to just simply make somebody’s day a little brighter and give them a reason to smile.❤️❤️ you always hear about how you should surround yourself with people who encourage you to be a better, bigger, and bolder version of yourself... and @aalexandriabishop is certainly that type of friend in my life!😍 we had a BLAST on Friday, running in and out of the protest line to hand flowers to people sitting outside on their porches, people who were hanging out on the sidewalks, people in their cars waiting at red lights...we were even leaving them on people’s mailboxes and on windshields of parked cars. Our flower wagon lost a wheel in battle that day, but the joy of loving on people and making them smile remains unmatched. ☺️☺️ my heart is full. ❤️❤️ Special thanks to Fatima from @studioterrain for supplying the roses!!
