The capital of European Union impressed me in many ways. Multiculturalism, mentality, beautiful infrastructure which is a bit similar with others European cities (which is default) but only in the old town. And waffles, they are truly delicious and if you know the right place you won’t care about your diet during your stay in Belgium anymore. Don’t forget to try both Brussels (square) and Liege (round) waffles. Manneken pis was a bit small but always surrounded by people no matter which time day or night you’re passing near it. Royal gardens where Royal family lives are one of the most attractive botanical gardens that I’ve seen. If you want to try some exotic kinds of beer you should try Delirium bar (also great place to spend night) (3000 types of beer are served there). Something about museums. I’ve visited Musical instruments museum and Brussels gallery (which separates into more than 3 museums inside) if you’re under 19 you will get there for free :). Don’t forget to visit European Parliament and Museum of European History both for free for everyone (only passport is required). Also if you want to feel real Belgian experience visit other cities. Train tickets are cheap and Belgium is small. I’ve been only in Ghent and Brussels but next time I’m exploring whole country. • If you have any questions feel free to leave them below!
