It is not easy to achieve success. It should be clear to all that success does not happen overnight. We should be mindful that there will still be ups and downs, and that there will be a lot of trial and error. Even today's most well-known businesses, who are known for their success in pleasing customers with their goods and services, have gone through a lot. But how did they get started in the first place? The Business Model Canvas is the most popular thing that entrepreneurs do when they first start their business (BMC).
âBusiness Model Canvas is a strategic management and lean startup template for developing new or documenting existing business models. It is a visual chart with elements describing a firmâs or productâs value proposition, infrastructure, customers, and finances. It assists firms in aligning their activities by illustrating potential trade-offsâ â Wikipedia
We used our Business Model Canvas as a guide in developing our project during our Technopreneurship journey. We chose the Slabs and Tiles Refurbishing Services as our temporary basis in creating our BMC since we had proposed two projects last week. I believe that the Customer segment is the most relevant of the nine sections of the BMC for any entrepreneur to find. And yes, we must first identify and know first if for whom would be our project, who will be the target market, and who will be the focus of it. If we already have our customer segment, everything in the BMC will follow. Our teamâs BMC is shown in the picture below.
