The first college I ever attended was @clarkcollege. Went there in truth because I didn’t get no D1 hoop offers. Played a half season for coach Dave Waldow before I quit on account of a bad attitude. Left the school after a year to attend @portlandcommcollege ...Fast forward almost 25 years and last week I’m back on campus to receive an Outstanding Alumni Award. Almost twenty-five years after, I’m back in the same gym (fancily decorated as it was) in which I quit the the hoop squad, but this time receiving this plaque from a dean. I wouldn’t have believed this if you told me. But this I know: a lot of assiduousness goes a long damn way. #communitycollegegrad #litlifeislife
