A long time ago, I read "The Boat Who Wouldn't Float" by Farley Mowat and I don't remember much about it except the rum coffee.

I've never tried a coffee brewed with rum instead of water but it doesn't sound good. Captain doesn't think it's good either.

Wind claims it'll put hair on your chest.

I was going to draw a plain 'ol coffee mug but decided to make my life harder by drawing a fancy teacup instead.

Behold the fancy teacup:

I actually own this teacup (minus the chips) and used it as a model.

Anyway, once again I spent way too long on this but it would not get out of my head until I drew it. So here you go.

If you haven't read "The Boat Who Wouldn't Float" and need a good laugh, I do recommend it. This is my small homage to Farley, the Happy Adventure (that's the ship) and Newfoundland.

Here are some sketches of Fox!Wild and Twilight. I really suck at drawing digitally.

I bet they feel like real tough guys, beating on the youngest. They are jealous that Sir Knight seems to have taken a liking to the boy.

But Link won't stay down for long. He might not be a match when the other pages gang up on him like this but you better believe he'll kick their asses during training.

It's tough being the smallest of the pages. Luckily, he's good friends with the Zora princess and she'll patch him up.

So uh, what really happened after Fort Hateno?

My guess? This overtly depressing exchange.

But it’s okie because we know what happens a hundred years later... right right??

hearth - chapter 10. I think I'm remembering

a botw & totk zelink AU. In which Link was raised as Ganon's right-hand man and is sent to kill Princess Zelda. [ T-rated; rating subject to change // chapter 10 of ? // AU-canon divergence, temporary amnesia, slow burn ]

Chapter excerpt:

“I finished my tea but I still can’t feel my fingers at all,” Zelda mumbled, her teeth clattering. She breathed into her reddened hands, clasping them together in an effort to warm her frosted fingertips. “It was much warmer in Gerudo Town when I last visited the desert…” “I suppose camping out here is a bit colder than in town,” Mipha said mildly, as she took a sip from her tea. “I’ve got an idea, Princess.” Link turned, rifling through his rucksack. He pulled out several stalks of warm safflinas— the pink buds looked even more vivid under the bonfire light.  Zelda watched curiously as Link crushed the petals between his fingers.  “You can keep your hands warm like this—” He slid the crumbled petals onto Zelda’s palm, before gently rubbing them onto her skin. “Oh—! The petals are so warm!” Zelda exclaimed, her eyes lighting up in interest. “I didn’t know you could do that with warm safflinas!” “Tch, you think you’re so smooth, don’t you?” Revali scowled, crossing his wings over his chest. “Doing all that just to hold Princess Zelda’s hands?”
